Re: Would You Rather- Sunday Edition

  • I honestly don't know what my answer is to my own question, ha!

  • We're not 100% set on Katniss being our last, but three would definitely be our limit. So I said I'd rather not be able to have more biological children because having five kids is way beyond the limit. I think it would almost be a relief knowing for sure that we were done instead of this awful emotional limbo I'm in about this possibly being the last few weeks of my last ever time carrying my baby.

  • Yeah.  We'd definitely like to have another child, maybe even two more if it's in the cards.  Having three more children in general doesn't scare me as much as having three at once.  I find the idea of multiples so overwhelming.
  • I had to go with seeing the results cause with dh turning 60 in 2 weeks our family is complete, but honestly, I would rather have 100% certainty of never getting pregnant again at this point in my life.

  • I picked triplets, because I think once I got over the shock and fear of it it'd be awesome.  That being said, I am so blessed to have my boys and the life I have that really not being able to have any more bio kids wouldn't be the end of the world either.

  • I could handle twins, but I think being pregnant with triplets would be too much of a strain on me. And I'd be scared of an unhealthy outcome.

  • Since we're One & Done this was an easy decision!

  • I'm in the triplet camp! DH and I want 3-4 kids and I don't know that we would def stop at four... Even so, I would rather have them one at a time
  • I picked not to have any more children. I want more for sure, but between the two choices, I feel that I could be content being Henry's mommy alone.

Did you vote? You weren't supposed to vote!
    I did ... shoot, I skewed the results ...

  • I said triplets because if DH would like 3 and I hate the idea of being pregnant two more times. So one horrible pregnancy and he would have 3 with a spare. Although, if I couldn't have more we would both be very satisfied with the one we have.

  • I think not being able to have any more biological children would be worse, but I think it would be better to know sooner than later to be able to make other plans like adoption. I can see the triplets as being stressful and unexpected, but for us that wouldn't be a bad thing. (It would be an excuse to get a new vehicle. :) )

  • I kind of surprised myself and went with triplets... but the thought of never having more children scared me much more than the thought of having triplets.
  • Triplets for sure. Even though if it were really tomorrow when I found out that would mean we would have 5 under 3.

OMG. 5 under TWO not three. A BFP right now would put the due date just before C's second birthday.

  • I'm having a hard time with this question. This is the reality that anyone with IF could face at any given RE appt. And I've known people who have heard both.
TTC with PCOS since November 2009
    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

  • I picked no more bio babies. M was going to be my only bio baby, J is carrying the next one. After he was born I kind of wanted to do it again though. Also, for no logical reason I was so worried before the first ultrasound with M that there would be two babies. I had a scary high risk pregnancy already, multiples would scare me way too much. I'd rather just adopt all the babies.

DH asked the other day when we could have sex again. I just laughed.
I should have had this ready.

  • I don't want to be insensitive to those who actually do have to get the news that they cannot have any more biological children but I would cry if I found out I was having triplets. I'm not sure if I want any more but if I do, I want to stop after 2. I had way too much anxiety and stress with just DD so I don't think I would hold up well with triplets.
