red blood after sex..

...thats just a sign of cervical irritation right? Immediately after I had some brown spotting but just went to the bathroom (a good 7hrs after the deed) and there is red in my liner and when I wiped. So sorry for the basic question, I just need some reassurance tonight. My heart cant take much more.

First Ultrasound- 6w2d 110BPM! Our baby has a heartbeat!!

    Yes it can be.  That's what it was for me with my DS.  Does your OB have an emergency line you could call just to have some reassurance from them?  Mine just had us take a break for 2 weeks to let things rest up and after we did that I was fine the rest of the pregnancy

    No they dont...well at least not that I know of. I havent had my first appt there yet so Im not familiar with the office. I will call my RE in the morning and let them know but its already subsided. Man, it gave me a mini heart attack even though I knew it was probably from sex. Im glad to hear after a rest you didnt have that problem! I hope thats the case here or its gonna be a LONG 9 months.

    When I had the mc last year I knew it by a war zone right after sex. Much different than just a little spotting. I actually had to get in the tub to rinse off. Hang in there!

    I just called the hospital and they connected me to my OB on call... our office is directly linked to the hospital though.  Worth asking about for future questions!  I was freaking out.  A lot.  But my OB assured me that if there were a problem I would be filling pads (sorry if tmi).  It didn't offer much for my nerves at the time but try to stay calm about it!
