Haven't done one of these in a while. What's good today, or this weekend?

Yesterday I went to a gf expo and got a ton of free samples and coupons, plus my lunch was all samples they were cooking and giving out there. So yummy. Today the only thing we have to get done is laundry, and we might go hang out with my in-laws for a bit. C and I are snuggling in bed because dh and charlie are conked out on the couch. It's lovely.

    We did a Halloween carnival last night, and my 2-year-old had a great time. Today has been more laid back, since my husband had to work, but I got both kids to sleep at the same time! I should have done chores, but I was terrified that putting the baby down would wake him up (which tends to wake up the bigger one), so I just held him and played on the computer the whole 45 minutes or so :)

    @Lilygrace48‌ - that expo sounds awesome! I'm gluten intolerant so I'm always looking for stuff like this, but unfortunately in my area they're hard to come by!!

    @RedMar‌ it was great! Where are you? I know in the greater Boston area there a few celiac groups that have annual meetings with lots of vendors. Maybe go to the GiG website to see if they have any listed for your area? They are the group that does all thebgf certification.

    No, Dh likes his gluten too much. He has certain things in the house that are his and we are very careful about cross contamination. We started C out gluten free but had her tested at one for both celiac and wheat allergy and she came back negative for both. Gluten is cheaper and money is right, so she eats mostly gluten these days. I started charlie with a non-gf oat cereal and he seems fine.

    My sunday sunshine (a day late) is I had a great race in the morning. It was an all-womens 10-miler and I finished faster than I'd expected so it was a great morning all around. Then, we went over to a friend's to watch football and even though we left at halftime (it was getting too loud and LO was getting kind of fussy) we still had a good time. Then we ordered pizza and relaxed. :)
