Hey mommas! I'm wondering if anyone else has had a successful pregnancy and delivery after being told that your uterus is very thin?? My last pregnancy was a twin pregnancy, my third section and that was 5 years ago. After my twins were born I was not advised not to become pregnant again, but I was told that my uterus was so thin that the Dr could see the babies through my uterus before cutting me open and that my next pregnancy would be high risk. I've tried researching this and I've found some cases where women have been told not to become pregnant again due to the risk of uterine rupture. In other cases, I've seen where women were told that they were okay to conceive again as long as they give their bodies time to heal. Anyone been through this before?? I am 7 weeks pregnant now and plan on seeing a high risk Dr.

  • Are you currently pregnant?  Either way I'd talk to your doc.  You could also request a referral to a MFM or Peri (high risk specialists).  Good luck.

Yes, I forgot to mention that I am 7 weeks pregnant. I have been to my family Dr for confirmation of pregnancy and I see my ob for the first time on Tuesday.
