Possible miscarriage

I started bleeding yesterday mostly brown with some red, no cramping but i still went to the doctor, they did an ultrasound and the babys growth looked fine (its just a fetal pole atm). Not ectopic or anything. However i am supposed to be 6 wks 2 days but the ulttrasound put me at 5 wks 6 days. And the babys heartbeat couldnt be detected. Should i be worried?

    Did your doctor seemed concerned? How sure were you on the date of your last period/ovulation date?

    I wouldn't be worried yet.  Out of 5 babies I've carried (4 live births and currently carrying #5) only 1 has ever measured exactly on track.  All of the rest have measured ahead or behind.  Are you SURE of your O date?  Are they having you go back for a repeat?  IMO the most important thing is to make sure that the baby grows, even if he/she has a slow start with a HB.

    I dated 9 days earlier after a bleeding scare, still dating the same lag from LMP 2 weeks later. Ask for a follow up!
