Hello Everyone,
We had a wild and crazy Mar and Apr of 2014. Our first RE appointment at six week, five days we learned we would welcome twins on October 22, 2014. We were so beyond thrilled. I had a OB appointment a week later and my OB surprised us even further with the news that there were actually three heartbeats and they were measuring a due date of November 6, 2014. The difference in the measurements with the RE and OB alarmed me, but my OB reassured me that having them measure behind wasn't concerning to her, that we had three heartbeats in the 130's was what we should focus on. I called the RE and he said he wasn't surprised as he could register the flicker of a third heart but "not enough to alarm us" so he figured he would know for sure when we went back at nine weeks. To our absolute sadness when we went back at nine weeks, one day the RE wasn't able to find any heartbeats. We were absolutely devastated a had a D&C on April 8th!
Today is October 22, 2014 and my DH and I have agreed to celebrate the precious weeks we had with our angels on both October 22 and November 6th. To our absolute delight we are also celebrating a BFP! A true gift from our Angels. Our journey has included three rounds of clomid (for the second time) and a trigger shot. Our EDD will be July 4th, 2015!
To my amazing Friends from TTCAL I hold you all in my heart! You have been such an amazing support and I can't imagine having been able to get through the past months without your guidance, encouragement, and friendships! A special shout out to the Ladies from the October and November boards who has followed me week by week through this journey in seeking this BFP! You are all amazing and I look forward to each and every one of you also celebrating your upcoming (or perhaps already posted) BFP's.
Now to wait for the call back from the nurse at the RE office so she can call in the paperwork to go in for my beta check's. Ugh, you'd think with all the waiting i've already experiences, waiting on that phone call wouldn't be so agonizing but I just So anxious!!
