Late afternoon / early evening latch issues

What does it mean when the baby gets all squirmy at the breast, and starts pulling on the nipple and not staying latched on?  My 5 week old is doing this a lot lately in the afternoon and evening feed, and I can't figure out what is going on.  Is he just frustrated because my let down is slower, or am I out of milk, or does he not like the taste because of something I ate?  He is pooping almost every feed, so I think he's getting enough, and he's gaining weight, but could I have a supply issue in the afternoon?  He eats better at the last feed before bed, and is less squirmy.   Any input is appreciated!

    This happens to me too - also if I'm NIP and using a cover he gets especially squirmy - so annoying! I find that a lot of the time he is just trying to poop :)
