Yesterday, I had to have a recheck of my original a/s. Because of baby girl's position the tech could not get all the information that was required. I know she was having some issues filming her heart. The tech sounded confident that everything looks normal but just could not get photographic proof of that. But I still got a phone call to make another appointment strictly to look at her heart. It might be silly but I'm starting to get a little nervous about the repeat ultrasounds. I am trying to just stay calm and I keep telling myself that if they felt something were wrong they would say something. It is just a little nagging fear, I guess. I'm trying to enjoy all these extra pictures of our baby! Between all the early ones we have and all the pictures we seem to be getting now I think we will be able to make a flip book by the end of this pregnancy!!

November 10 will be ultrasound number NINE for us, so don't worry. I'm sure everything is just fine.

I have a similar issue. Had my US the end of September, and had another rescheduled for this Monday because they couldn't get proper measurements. So they want to redo it to make sure baby girl is growing right. Which made me nervous at first, but then I thought like you and said to try to enjoy all the extra pics. I stopped worrying also cause my hospital had two due dates for me. Which is probably why measurements are off. I told myself that I'm doing good, I'm feeling baby, so stop worrying. And you shouldn't worry either! Sometimes it's just hard to get all in there to see everything the first time! Thoughts are with you anyway!

I had to come back for a second AS because LO had his face buried and they could not get shots of his face. It's all about the position of the baby. I know that because they are telling you that they they additional shots of LO's heart, it is hard not to freak out. But, you should be okay especially if the tech is not saying something is wrong.

I lost count, but I think I am in the high teens. Oh and even before my anatomy scan was started they set up a special U/S for a fetal echo of the heart. Not because anything was wrong, but just to look.

I've lost count on how many scans I have had. I did have to go in to have her spine checked b/c of how she was laying during the anatomy scan. All is well. The tech stressed to me it's just b/c the doc won't sign off until there are clear pics. I will be having scans at each appt here on out due to AMA.

Same situation here, although I have a heart condition that was discovered during pregnancy. They want to really be sure they have checked the baby's heart thoroughly.

I had to go back in for another u/s after baby girl's a/s, mainly to get all pictures they needed of her heart. After that they requested I come back in another month, which will be on 11/10, to monitor her growth. They said everything looked great but it still made me worry. I completely understand why it would make you nervous. Let's not worry about it, we just get to see our baby girls again!
