I think taking your own BP at home might be advantageous. I had a friend that was induced on her first pregnancy because of high blood pressure and with her second was so nervous about it she read high at the office all the time. She would take it at home and it was always normal.
Big, big ((hugs)). I have no advice but I wanted to say that I'm sorry you're experiencing spotting. I know that would jack up my BP. I hope that the spotting resolves soon! Sending t&ps.
I don't have anything to add other than what PPs have said, but just wanted to say I'm sorry you had a rough day and I hope you can relax a bit this weekend. PGAL brain sucks balls.
I'm sorry you're spotting, and I hope it stops soon. ((hugs)) I don't know about the BP issues, although mine has been much higher for the last couple of OB visits, too.

I can't comment on the spotting but I've had a few appts where my BP ran very high (my milestone appt for example when I was insanely nervous). Other appts it's been normal. I'm sorry you're dealing with that. When is your next appt?

I'm not sure about your BP, but like others have said, maybe purchase a home cuff to monitor it yourself. They're around $20-$30, I think. We had to buy one for DH a few years ago.
I had a small SCH with DS that was discovered at my dating u/s (around 6.5 weeks). About 10 weeks, I had spotting just like you described. I freaked out b/c that was about the time that we found out about my loss the first time. An u/s showed that DS was just fine and that the SCH was gone, so that's what they attributed the bleeding to.
(((Hugs))) glad you are feeling better. I agree with having a BP monitor at home just to help reassure you. I had one bad bp with my daughter (at my first ever apt so i was terrified). She had me get a bp for home and all my readings were normal.
Hi there, remember that the diagnosis of pre-e is not just about high blood pressure. You might just have hypertension in pregnancy (and not pre-e), or white coat hypertension, and/or shouldn't drink caffeine before you go to the doctor. For pre-e you need to have abnormal blood work and BP >140/90 and be at least 20 weeks.
Also technically you're supposed to be seated for 3-5 minutes in a chair with a back and relaxed before anyone takes your BP
IDK your medical history but the biggest risk for having pre-e is having it previously. The risk of pre-e is higher in moms that have a diastolic blood pressure (the bottom number) greater than or equal to 110 (which you don't) before 20 weeks. Minor risk factors: If it's your first baby, you're over age 40, your mom or sister had pre-e, you have antiphospholipid antibodies, or you had diabetes or HTN or a BMI >26 before pregnancy.
