Since you're back I have a question for you:
I recall you saying a while back you still rocked your 18 month old to sleep. So I still rock my son to sleep too (all the rest of you - don't judge!!!!!). My question is, if your DD wakes up during the night, does she have a hard time getting back to sleep without your help? My son has been getting worse here lately where he won't go back to sleep during the night unless I sit in his room until he falls back asleep. I'm not sure if the MOTN issues are directly related to the fact that he doesn't have to put himself to sleep. At naptime I also sit in his room until he falls asleep. Both my husband and I work and we are getting tired of the lack of sleep involved in spending so much time in his room at nights waiting for him to go back to sleep.
If you've transitioned her to getting herself to go to sleep on her own at night, I would love the suggestions because I'm thinking I need to do the same. Put him in bed while he is awake and do some method of sleep training to teach him to get himself to sleep.
I'm guessing that I've created my own monster here by being his sleep crutch, so I feel like I need to fix this now that he's pushing 2 years old. I'm really at a loss though right now on what to do.

Re: @Poppy523
I know this isn't much help, but I hope it's some!
