Symptoms: Tired. Tightening/Cramping across the bump. Getting head butted in the cervix from time to time.
AW/Appointments: Doctor says everything is measuring on target and heartbeat is good. 1.5-2 cm (2cm when she stretched--yeah that was comfortable!) and 50% thinned out.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? At this point my definition of fun weekend plans is getting to take a nap! We do have friends coming over for dinner and a movie at our house on Saturday, as long at LO doesn't choose to make his appearance. Sunday will be spent on the couch watching football.

Me: 36, DH: 38, Together since: 2006, Married: 9/2011 **TW Living Child**
AW/Appointments: I went for my weekly OB appointment last Tuesday and my blood pressure was through the roof (again). I got sent to L&D and stayed for monitoring for 2 days and 2 nights. I was also told that they will be inducing within the next 2 weeks. It was pretty wild considering I was just popping in for a check up on my lunch break. I had two NSTs a day, had my BP checked every hour and did the 24 urine catch (no protein, yay!) Anyway, since I passed everything for two days I'm home now but on bedrest. Baby looks great - I had a visit with the MFM and she is 6.5lbs and none of this has compromised her well being at all, thank God. I go back Tuesday to see both the MFM and my OB. Hopefully I'll have a better idea of when to expect her then.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? Keeping my BP down and resting. I have so much that I want to get done around the house so it is going to be a challenge.
Symptoms: Indegestion; cramping; constant potty breaks; NO SLEEP!!
AW/Appointments: I had my 38 week appt today. I'm currently 1cm and 80% effaced. Doc says I should deliver right around my due date. I was kind of hoping the LO would come early, but anything is better than arriving late!!!!
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? - Shopping (maybe I can walk the baby out) and watching my dad install LO's chandelier in the nursery! Although it's not FUN, I will probably try to pick up around the house too so I don't have to come home from the hospital to a dirty house!
Symptoms: Discomfort. Nothing remarkable. Baby has been riding high and it is uncomfortable. I have been trying to spend more time on my feet and walk more. He is lower today and my ribs are thankful!
AW/Appointments: I have a regular prenatal visit this afternoon - my weekly struggle to pee in a little cup without making too much of a mess. Anyone have tips?
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? Not really. I am babysitting tonight as a thank-you for my friend that threw my baby shower. DH is coming along - he is great with kids so I will be able to relax on the couch as much as I would like. The rest of the weekend is normal chores and relaxation. Nothing to get excited about.
Let's hear those updates on inside babies and on our groups super babies!
EDD/Weeks: 38 weeks
Symptoms: Everything lol I'm so done
AW/Appointments:Had my first cervical check yesterday. Midwife said I had a cervix of a 40 weeker and doesnt think labour is far off. Fingers crossed baby comes soon.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? If the weather is ok we are going to the pumpkin patch.
Symptoms: Nothing too bad, just the normal 9 month complaints about moving/getting around.
AW/Appointments: Had an appointment yesterday, still upset about being GBS positive.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? Would love to do a drive somewhere to see some more fall colors and visit a cider mill or something along those lines. But really need to spend Saturday shopping for an Outback for me to switch to, and the rest of the weekend getting a bedroom furniture set and painting the nursery.
Symptoms: Oh, the SPD is kicking in full force. Sweet babe dropped significantly after a couple of days of frequent BH contractions, and my groin is now splitting apart. Arrrgh. It's going to be a long three weeks. Other than that, feeling good.
AW/Appointments: Midwife appointment yesterday. Did my GBS test, so waiting to hear about that (fingers crossed!). She said baby is doing great, that she's measuring at 38 weeks, has good heart rate variability, and was in the PERFECT position for birth. Am particularly relieved about the last, as she's been persistently posterior for weeks - I think this is another outcome of the BH ctx I was having for a couple days. Just setting the stage.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? My baby shower is tomorrow! I'm excited. Going to feel so much more prepared once I see what we have and what we still need to get. I know we're going to get one of the carseats we need, and hopefully ample clothes and receiving blankets because I still only have a couple things leftover from my boys.
Symptoms: All of the very pregnant ones - still no sign of my mucus plug though. I'm a little disappointed. Maybe I should start a new thread to discuss what it could potentially look like?
AW/Appointments: Getting seen 2x/week now - NST one day and OB another - I'm also measuring my BP 2x/day at home although I'm untrusting of the machine. It's the best one on the market yet I get SO many error messages.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? Today is my birthday wahoo! <:-P And I'm going to the World Series tonight to root on my Giants. So excited!
Symptoms: STRESS... We had a Nor'easter Wednesday night and our apartment got flooded, the walls, ceiling and carpet are all torn apart and you can't even walk anywhere for all the drying fans and the moved furniture. DH and I are in a hotel for the time being and... added to that... see below
AW/Appointments: Had a followup Growth U/S Wednesday for IUGR and the baby continues to be small (though everything else looks great). My OB has decided that I need to be induced early NEXT WEEK! We are so NOT ready, still waiting for the crib, dresser and changer to be delivered and the whole nursery is pretty much in boxes. I still haven't filled out the baby's clothes and other essentials apart from my shower gifts and NOW my apartment is torn apart so who knows when I can actually get in there to get everything washed and ready. So much for "we are so lucky, the pregnancy has been smooth so far." Yup, paying for the mild pregnancy symptoms big time now!
GTKY:Any fun weekend plans? Madly shopping and buying JIC hotel baby supplies while trying to figure out when we will be able to get back into the apartment and having a baby NEXT WEEK! aack!
Pregnant. VERY Pregnant lol dealing with heartburn, peeing every 1-2 hours, very uncomfy bump even when laying down and it's propped up, BH are kicking it up a notch, bump is super low these days
AW/Appointments:
yesterdays appt went well. BP is good, swelling is normal, baby is down and currently at 1-2cm. Mucus plug constantly coming out. Next appt will be next Thursday!
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans?
Sex. We plan on jiggling the babe around a bit haven't done it in a really long time but hey whatever gets the cervix ripening or whatever its supposed to do. Plus Dr said babe can come out anytime she feels like it now so why not. We are also going on a date night Saturday and have a family dinner Sunday. Love food!!!
Hi ladies. It's kind of late for me to join this board, but I hope it's ok... I accidentally posted on the Wednesday/Thursday one of these because I didn't know that was based on due date day of the week (duh). I've been lurking for a while though...
EDD: 11/15 36 wks 6 days
Symptoms: off and on contractions, period like cramps, moody, exhausted, reflux worse than ever and have actually had real painful up the back kind of heartburn , and my skin is breaking out all of a sudden after weeks of clear glowiness
AW/Appts: everything measuring "perfect". Tested for GBS just this Monday, waiting for results. Was about 50% effaced Monday, no dilation yet. Next appt Tuesday morning!
GTKY: sleep... Lots of sleep... And taking the dog for some long walks since the weather is supposed to be beautiful. She's a lab/shepherd mix and has missed her running partner (me!) so I try to make up for it with walks... Also returning a few duplicate items from registry and getting the final things I need for Ava's arrival!
@lizzielu82 happy birthday!! What fun birthday plans!!
@aa98 that sounds so stressful... I hope you're able to relax as much as possible!! But how exciting to meet your LO soon!!

@aa98 I am so sorry you are dealing with such a stressful situation. I hope everything dries out quickly!
Unrelated note: has anyone started having weird dreams recently. My weird pregnancy dreams ended around the end of the first trimester or start of the second. Last night I had several really weird dreams. I also really remember my dreams, with the exception of early in the pregnancy, so it made it all extra strange and not normal. Anyone else notice an up tick in weird dreams?

@kemb0001 not a huge deal, but it looks like since you're due on a Tuesday, you'd do your weekly check-in on the Monday/Tuesday post. The ticker change threads are for when you start a brand new week of pregnancy. :-)
EDD/Weeks: November 14th - 37 weeks Symptoms: Everything that comes with being this far along...both emotionally and physically! AW/Appointments: I finished 23 parent conferences and report cards! HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. Buttt....as a result, I had to postpone my 37 week appointment until Monday. I'll find out my GBS results which I'm a little nervous about.... I'm allergic all of the first three medications they would use if I'm positive. GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? NOTHING! and SO EXCITED about it :-)
Symptoms: The usual. Heartburn has become especially bad. I woke up in the middle of the night last week in the process of throwing up bile. It was gross.
AW/Appointments: I had an appointment yesterday. I'm GBS and MRSA negative, so that's good. The doctor wrote me a note putting me on sick leave until my due date because I'm just done with work. So, my last day was today.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? My plan is to only do things that can be done from the couch. So....dusting the coffee table? Other than that, nothing.
Symptoms: Sciatica, insomnia, pressure/sharp pains around cervix, decreasing appetite
AW/Appointments: I go on Tuesday for my 36 week appt and GBS swab
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? Not really . DH is sick and DS had a horrible week at school behavior wise. Need to work on some homework and work in DD's nursery.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for all the good wishes! I have a much better perspective on things now. Sure it would have been lovely to have this weekend to do some last minute setup, but we will adjust
@zengal I know, the stars must have been wonky or something, Wednesday was definitely not my best day ever. Have a fun time at the fair, nom nom ... funnel cakes...
@sj+cm131 Thanks! I hope you get to relax as much as possible this weekend!
@runningmama22 welcome to the group! I'm trying to relax as much as possible. I miss running something awful too, I can't wait to get back to it though I am not sure I will ever have the same type of time to do it.
@lincoln79 thanks, everyone has been so great when they see me waddling around
@DoubleUp8 Thanks, the blowers are doing their thing! I had some... interesting dreams a few weeks ago, very vivid especially since I never really remember my dreams...all these hormones I guess!
@crizz13 Thanks so much! FX to be back in Monday or Tuesday. That is A LOT of parent conferences
@aa98--I'm sorry about your damage. I hope it's nothing too severe and you get home soon!
EDD/Weeks: 11/15, 37 weeks tomorrow
Symptoms: Contractions (BH and real ones with some period-like cramps thrown in) started after the OB checked me on Wednesday. Otherwise, still hip and back pain.
AW/Appointments: My OB said I'm 2 cm and "very soft" and that Artoo's head is "right there." She doesn't think I'm going to make it to my due date. I'm hoping to make it to November at this point with all of the contractions, and the fact that my mucous plug seems to be leaving. I am GBS negative, and good on weight and BP, though.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? We're going to do some maternity pictures and go to a friends party tomorrow. I'm trying to organize a trip to one of our local hang-outs that has a really fun Halloween event for kids, but no one wants to make a decision. I hate being the one in charge!
Symptoms: got a cold, though that's not really a pregnancy symptom. I do have weird teeny bumps on my 'bump.' They're not red or itchy, so don't know what they could be.
AW/Appointments: next Monday is my GBS swab. Hoping doctor will be able to give me an indication of LOs size and position.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? Baby shower on Sunday. My sister has been working very hard, so I'm excited so see what she's done, but not looking forward to being the centre of attention.
EDD/Weeks: Due on 11/15/14.......feeling closer every day Symptoms: Just a little trouble sleeping, but luckily I feel energized all day. AW/Appointments: Trace amounts of protein in urine this week first time ever. Midwife says not to worry, since blood pressure is great and has always been great.
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? Going to the pumpkin patch with my nieces and nephews. Just want to get as much time with them before the baby gets here.
Symptoms: Ow. I hurt. And I'm tired of people staring at my large bump!
AW/Appointments: Just waiting to see what happens Tuesday at my next appt. I had a cervix check last week which hurt like a b*tch. I'm going to see about opting out of it if it's not necessary.
GTKY: Mostly sitting around! I have a final eyebrow threading appointment today at one. DH and I might go see a movie. Cleaning up around the house... anything really to pass the time.
AW/Appointments: I'm currently 2 cm and a little over 80% effaced. I know it doesn't mean baby is on her way now but I'm excited my body is progressing!!
GTKY: Any fun weekend plans? We went to see Kathy Griffin last night! She's freaking hilarious. Today we had our maternity pictures. My cousin took them for us and said we were the latest she's ever taken at 38 weeks. Haha, I'm such a procrastinator. We then went to the apple orchard and are now on the way to my little cousin's 21st birthday party. I'm planning on baking apple pies and making homemade apple sauce all day tomorrow with my loot from the apple orchard. Busy busy weekend!!
Re: ~^~Friday/Saturday Ticker Change ~^~
Symptoms: Tired. Tightening/Cramping across the bump. Getting head butted in the cervix from time to time.
AW/Appointments: Doctor says everything is measuring on target and heartbeat is good. 1.5-2 cm (2cm when she stretched--yeah that was comfortable!) and 50% thinned out.
