  • I am thankful for my son because he is the most amazing child. He is 9 and still his idea of a fun time is to snuggle with me and watch movies. He is currently, while I type, getting me a glass of milk and cookies. :) I am also thankful for my body's ability to grow children and the fact the it is growing a healthy baby girl for me right now. I'm also thankful for my SO for being there for me always even though sometimes he and I don't see eye to eye but he never gives up on us which is more than I can ask for

  • I am thankful my DH will be home tonight, and that when he gets here I get to go to Starbucks and have some alone time. I am stressed to the max today and he knows how to swoop in and save the day. So thankful to have him as my husband.

  • I am thankful that my husband is an awesome cook. After a long day at work and teaching, it is awesome to walk in to yummy homemade food :)

    If only...

My SO definitely needs to learn how to cook! But he sorted the laundry the other day and has helped a lot with generally cleaning up around the house which is amazing.

  • I'm actually grateful for the yeast infection that gave me a good excuse to go to the doctor's today and hear kiddo's heartbeat. I woke up in the middle of the night last night terrified that something had gone wrong and ended up freaking out and sobbing. If it weren't for the YI, I probably would still be suffering in fear without knowing. (I felt kiddo for about a week regularly, but he must have shifted because I've barely felt him for the past couple of days, which is I what think triggered my freak out).
  • I'm thankful to have heard the words "everything looks perfect" at my 20 week appointment on Tuesday. I had no idea how desperate I was to hear them until they left my doctor's mouth. I'm also thankful for all the ways in which my son has brought me comfort and strength already, without even having met him yet.

  • I'm thankful for my two coworkers who are currently pg. I am learning so much just by having them around and I don't have as much fear that I'm going to completely suck as a mom. I'm thankful for this LO who is currently flipping around, it makes me feel much better knowing that he/she is actually doing something so I don't have to question whether or not it's still alive inside me.
I'm also thankful for maternity pants. My butt is expanding as much as my belly and these pants are sooooo comfy!
  • Wanted to post yesterday -- I'm thankful for a co-worker who took the time yesterday to come in on her day off to help us at the clinic, when we were (once again) over-scheduled and under-staffed. Her presence helped me stay sane, get a lunch break & bathroom breaks when I needed them, and be in a good mood when I got off work  (on time!) & spent time with my H for his birthday. :D
  • Thankful for my good a/s yesterday, and for my awesome Bible study group. Also thankful that two of my friends happen to be expecting little ones around the same time as me - automatic mommy friends!
  • I'm thankful to have lost weight between my appt yesterday and my 12 week appt. only 0.8 kg but starting out ahead of the game and being at risk for GD due to PCOS, weight gain has been a big concern of mine.

  • I'm thankful I pooped today! Been miserable for a couple days. Oh and that I got to hear my girls heartbeat today at my appt.
