He is here!!!!! My son Manny was born 10/22/14 at 8:18 am via scheduled csection. He weighed 8lbs 8oz and 21 inches long! That's tall for our family! My DH and I are both tallest in our immediate families at a whopping 5'4".
Last week after check in we spoke with doc about our options due to babies size. He was measuring between 8lb 9oz and 9lbs 4oz. His head was 96th percentile. Doc did not want us to go vaginal if we hit.41 weeks because he would have issues getting through. We opted for scheduled csection so we didn't chance emergency csection. Doc was afraid (and so were we) that starting labor then going to emergency csection would be too much stress on baby (& me).
It was.a.nice calm morning, the staff is amazing here. I couldn't be happier with my experience, the incision stings like a B!!! I am starting to get up and move around (not on my own yet). I am told I am healing great.
Manny is doing amazing! I am so in love.. he is just so beautiful, I feel like I am having the best.dream ever. I can't believe he's ours! He seems to have a very mellow personality like his daddy (thank God!). He's breastfeeding well his first day.
My mom and sister couldn't thank me enough for being determined enough to battle IF for 4 years to have him. That made me cry. All those sleepless nights in tears were totally worth it. Apparently not to just me & DH.

TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married).
No pregnancies yet.
May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.
