Irrational thoughts

I spent a couple of hours working in DD's room this morning and boxing up the remaining infant items that were lingering - diaper bags, crib rail guards, etc to go to our storage unit.  And here comes the irrational thought - this next cycle just has to work - right?  Since I've cleared every infant related item out?  Ha ha.

It's not just me, right?  Any one else care to share?
Me: 35 DH: 35 - Married 10 years
PCOS and MF
Two failed rounds IUI in 2010
IVF #1 in 2011 - BFP 8/5/11 - Our IVF miracle was born 4/8/12
FET 9/23/13; BFP -Twins-10/3/13; EDD 6/10/14; MC 11/1/13; D&C 11/4/13
FET 3/28/14; BFN - 4/7/14
IVF #2 - Transfer 2 embryos 11/14/14; BFP 11/24/14 - Beta 265;
11/26/14 - Beta 612; 11/28/14 - Beta 1263; 12/1/14 - Beta 3571;
12/3/14 - first u/s - two gestational sacs; 12/17/14 - two healthy heartbeats (132 and 134)
Our IVF miracles were born 7/16/15

    Sometimes I think I should just purge everything because then I would totally get pregnant and have to buy all that crap again.  Haha.

    Although, I am getting pretty sick of looking at boxes of baby stuff.  We moved this spring and I felt so dumb packing up and moving all of this stuff that might never get used again.  :/

    I purged in August I think it was. It was therapeutic if nothing else figuring that if we get to the point of truly being done trying with no success, I won't have to worry about it at that point.

    We still have almost all of DD's stuff, but I get kind of sad each time I pack away clothes she's grown out of.

    I'm planning to donate everything to the postpartum depression program at my work if we're not successful after we go through all our insurance coverage.  I like your theory, though, @hoppin747.  Maybe I should donate it now and see if it works.

    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    If the FET I undergo next month is unsuccessful it's bye bye baby and infant stuff. I gave up the fantasy of a spontaneous pregnancy long, long ago.
    TTC since 3-08 IVF # 1 Dec 2011 BFP DD born at 31 weeks 6-24-12

    FET #1 Dec 2013 BFN

    FET # 2 Feb 2014 BFN

    No more frosties

    IVF #2. September 2014

    PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts

    SET November 9, 2014
    Nov 23, 2014. Another BFN

    Not sure where to go from here.

    I don't have that irrational thought but I do cry every time I have to put away a size of clothes that is too small.

    Bananappeal145, good.  I cry when DS outgrows stuff, too and I'm glad I'm not the only one.  And as far as baby stuff goes, I figure we will have another baby in our family one way or another.  We are seriously considering fost/adopt down the road whether we have another bio baby or not.  So, I am totally into mentally designing the nursery and stuff.  

    But, the whole idea of moving on to make it happen sounds like a legit plan.  I mean, every time I'm at a restaurant that's taking a long time, as soon as someone in the group gets up to use the restroom, the food comes.  So, it should translate to baby making, too ;)

    Taking a break from herbs and just riding the healthy train.  
    Planning medicated cycle end of summer.  FX I get KU before then!!!
