  If the doctor/tech performing the ultrasound couldn't tell you a definite answer then it's probably too soon to tell.  I'm waiting for my 20 week anatomy scan, I suggest you do the same thing if you want the correct answer.

  Did you happen to notice how close the 'split' is to where the knees would be? Kinda says 'not genitals'. Unless yours hang to your knees? Mine don't, maybe everyone is different?

  Testicles don't drop until 15 weeks - her picture shows she is 12 weeks - therefore too soon to tell. Wait until 16w and do an elective scan or 20w when you have your A/S.

  I'm 13 weeks and 4 days. Had my ultrasound and was clearly able to tell it was a boy. The very skilled technician at the antinatal testing center was giving me a high five. Many of these posts are ridiculously hateful. It is not impossible to tell between 11-14 weeks. Most technicians refuse because they have a higher chance of error. If you get your ultrasound closer to 13.5 weeks you can see it (if the baby cooperates).

  12 weeks is far too early. Baby's gentials are not even fully formed until week 15. So it's a boy...or a girl. Surprise!

  Maybe when the baby is born....my old boss went the last 20 weeks believing she was having a girl...she was in for a huge suprise when it came out with a penis and testicles instead
