Latest thing you've done to prepare for baby(or babies): We've been working on prepping the nursery before I even got pregnant... already painted it a nice neutral color, ripped up the nasty carpet, and had the hardwood floor refinished.

Jesse, our baby boy: 2/25/15 @ 25.6 weeks, 2lbs 2oz & 13.5 inches. spent 66 days in the NICU.

I have my first midwife appointment 3rd nov- I think most people on here are from the states. In the uk we don't have an ultrasound until around 12 weeks unless there is a problem
I haven't brought anything yet as I don want to tempt fate and it's my first.

My first appointment is 11/6... just a pee in the cup check up though, no u/s for a while for us...
I have mostly just been getting our DD ready to switch over to her "big girl room", we haven't really made any plans for the baby but it kind of is because DD is sleeping in the crib we will be using.

Prepping: Bought a pair of maternity pants because I can't stand anything pressing on my belly right now, and my mom is going nutso sending me consumer reports info on strollers already haha

Latest thing you've done to prepare for baby(or babies): nothing really. There's so much else going on and I think my life should calm down in a month or two.
GTKY-How long have you been with your significant other?: 5 years depending on when we started, 2 years married, but could tack on 6 months to that date too (civil then church weddings).

Next appointment is Nov 4th, although we were spoiled at our first (confirmation) appointment, since they did an u/s and we got to see a heartbeat!
What am I doing to prepare for baby: Except for vomiting? We're moving DS (10) into the spare room, he's finally getting a bunk bed so he's stoked. I checked out the local thrift store for maternity pants while we looked for the kid's Halloween costume, too. Apparently girls in my town like to give up their gap jeans, but alas, they're all size 2 or 4 (which was my size in about fifth grade...fail).
Been with the guy for six years, married since June!
Next Appointment: Next Thursday, 10/30. Our first ultrasound and assuming everything looks good we'll graduate on to OB from RE.
Latest thing you've done to prepare for baby(or babies): I'm not letting myself go into planning mode until we have visual confirmation, but I am already designing our Holiday Cards where we will announce in my head.
