So I've been trying to figure out what travel system to get...all the advice on here about baby items have been great. I think I decided on Chicco brand. Anyway which stroller do you have with it? I'm leaning towards the Neuvo bc it looks easier.

  • FTM so I haven't actually used it yet, but we got the Cortina.  After trying to fold and unfold all of the different ones they had on display at BRU & Target, the Cortina was the easiest and not too heavy.  I'm only 5'2" so I wanted to get a stroller that wouldn't feel like a workout everytime I tried to use it.  Plus it has the cup holder and little storage container near the handles for keys, etc.

Have you gone to the store and tried the samples?  That helped us a lot!
  • We are doing the Chicco Keyfits with the double joovy roo stroller frame.

  • Not to hijack your question but I want to get a chicco keyfit carseat and an uppa baby vista stroller. Anyone know if the keyfit will click into that or do I need to get some type of carseat adapter? clueless FTM who hasn't registered yet so I really haven't looked into it..
  • @chickyclg‌ We test drove the city mini double gt at buy buy baby and loved it. I hope when the time comes it is in the budget! We also test drove the Baby trends double jogger and that wasn't bad for the $200 price tag. We have both on the registry, but we most likely will have to buy a jogger ourselves.

There have been a few City Mini Doubles on CL around here for sale for excellent prices so it's worth stalking.  That's where we got our City Select.  Instead of paying close to $800, we paid $300 and it is in PERFECT condition.

albeebaby.com usually has good deals on the babyjogger brands too.

  • Thanks everyone...

@Meagano19 I'm also 5'2 so I guess once we try them in the store I'll figure it out. I've been reading the reviews but it's just overwhelming!

I am really lucky that that's what my parents got us for our shower, I second CL or multiples sales. My MoMs group always has someone selling the joovy SNG for around $30, so if I don't get it that's where I am going to look.

  • I have a chicco Corrina and I love it. Its not too heavy and it folds easily and has TONS of storage space

  • We have a cheap BRU model that worked perfectly with it.

  • I didn't get a travel system per se...We got the keyfit caddy (light frame stroller) that the keyfit 30 snaps into. Then when DS got big enough to use a regular stroller (6 months-ish), we got a Britax B-Agile. We like the City Mini and the Britax B-Agile, but the B-Agile was on sale on Amazon, so I got a rain cover, parent console and another accessory for still less than the City Mini.

This time we are planning on getting a City Mini GT Double for DS and DD to share, plus the car seat adapter. I like the bigger/better wheels on the CMGT for park and non-sidewalk terrain, and it fits in the trunk of our Prius with the car-seat adapter installed. Definitely recommend test driving some at BBB or BRU before you decide.

  • We got a BOB off CL to use with ours. Hubby and I love the trails near our home so we needed a stroller that could hang :D
  • I had the cortina travel system with my first-- it was the "new one" at the time. Love the car seat-- hated the stroller... I literally used it like for 2 weeks... Went and got anew stroller.
  • @CrazyCornball‌ did you get your adapter in a store or online?
  • I have the Liteway and ABSOLUTELY LOVE it! It folds up small and weighs next to nothing.

  • We are thinking the city mini gt for our chicco keyfit 30.
  • Thanks so much ladies!
  • We're getting the keyfit caddy for at first, and a city mini gt when he gets bigger.
  • Based on my friends recommendations.... We are registering for the Chicco lightway plus and the city select jogger with the Chicco carrier attachment.
