Fellow POAS addicts..

So I am absolutely a POAS addict. Hadn't done a test in a few days because I was being a normal person for once...

This morning tested (twice) with FMU, faint line, cue the slight panic. Googled hook effect (heard of it, didn't know what it was..) diluted the urine with 75% water, BAM dark dark line.

Moral of the story: it's time to step away from the pee sticks. Hope you all can break the habit. :)

    I am also a POAS addict as well.  The first step is admitting your problem, right?  Anyway, my rationale is that I have a bunch of internet cheapies left so I might as well use them.  I actually haven't tested in two days (gasp) so maybe I am breaking the habit.. Although, the hook effect is something I haven't heard of though.. very interesting and totally going to do that today.

    I have one test left. My u/s is next friday so I'm going to take it sometime next week. Then I'm out of them, so no more.

    I've had to tell myself to quit buying tests. I've forbidden myself to purchase any more... And that's when I broke out the old OPKs.. I'm pathetic.

    I'm going to buy more today. I did 3, all positive, but my blood test came back "inconclusive". That's enough justification in my book. Especially if I have to wait until Monday to go back!

    The only thing stopping me from peeing on tests is the fact that I am out of internet cheapies- dont need 20 of them, and refuse to spend $25 on the CBE digitals. lol 
    PCOS- finally pregnant after 3 years of IF treatment, including 4 failed IUI. 

    Lucky IUI #5 currently growing in my belly!

    I as well POAS every morning.  Which makes no sense to me logically but...what can I say...It makes me feel better seeing the line get darker :)

    I peed multiple times a day to watch the darkening progression over the weeks. It's a sickness. Down to my last few wondfos, but with the hook effect apparent it's time for me to break the cycle HA.
