Anyone have first prenatal appt at Paoli OBGYN?

So even though this is my second pregnancy and I delivered my son a mere 10 months ago with Paoli OBGYN, I am forgetting what goes on at the first prenatal appt. I sadly remember that they don't do the heartbeat in the office, that you have to schedule that separately. But do they draw blood then or is that also separate? Anyone recently go through this with them?

I'm 6 weeks and just antsy...

  • I didn't go to them for my first, but I remember giving a urine sample and having a pap smear. The rest of the appt was discussion about hospital information and blood work that would need to be done.

  • Thank you @MichaelaMTP‌ I think I remember that too
  • Yep! Not much goes on. Pap and a discussion. They gave me the forms to get a NY scan at 12 weeks too. Good luck! Love the doctors there!

  • Oh yeah and blood work was separate for me because I went to the Collegeville office.

  • Thanks @mands1125‌! I go tomorrow to see Chasteney. Love him and the other docs there!
  • Hi all, not to change the direction of this thread, but I just moved to the area and am looking at Paoli hospital for OB care.... Are there any doctors anyone can recommend?
  • I love this office! Have my first appointment on January 5th at Paoli. I'm a FTM, anything I should bring?
  • I love Mainline OBGYN. I've seen 4 different doctors there and liked them all! Dr. Kakarla has been my fave so far though. Bonus: they're located directly across the street from the hospital.
  • I also go to Mainline OBGYN. They have a couple locations, I go to the one in Strafford/Wayne. I had my daughter at Paoli and everyone was awesome. I plan on going there with this baby too. Good luck :)
