    I wouldn't be since you were aware of what was going on with your cards. Had you not known with both what was going on then I might be a little embarrassed but not for thinking they were maxed but being unaware of what was going on. Don't worry though it happens wayyyy more often then you think. I use to work at a grocery store and at least 3 times a day it would happen to someone in my line. It's no biggie! :)

    That happened to me one time at the grocery store. There was a huge line behind me, I was wrestling DS (I didn't get a shopping cart because I just had to grab a few items), and one of my cards had expired and they didn't take the kind of card of the other one.

    I wasn't embarrassed because of being worried about people judging me for being over my limit, but I mainly didn't want people to feel sorry for me like some frazzled mom or annoyed that I was holding up the line.
