I got a Sephora gift card for my birthday earlier this month, and am researching different foundations on their website. I'm looking to try something different, and need medium to full coverage that lasts. I have an oily t-zone and acne scars on my chin, so I want something that keeps me looking matte but also covers the redness on my face.
I got a sample of MUFE HD that I'm currently trying out, but I don't feel like it does a good enough job of masking the red. Maybe I'm not layering it on enough? Past favorites of mine were Lancome's Teint Miracle (still love that, but the finish is pretty dewy and I want something more matte), and BareMinerals Ready foundation. I loved the BM Ready a lot at first, but it does go on pretty cakey and just seems to sit heavily on my skin when I use it. Like, if I scratch my cheek, I suddenly have a fingertip covered in foundation.

Anyway, what's your HG foundation, if you're lucky enough to have found it?
Re: NBR: Your holy grail foundation?
Mac studio fix fluid is great for me as well but not sold at sephora.
For evening events or when I need a ton of coverage, ditto the rec for MAC studio fix although as mentioned, not sold at Sephora.
This!! This is actually exactly what I did to find the right products that work for my skin tone!
