  If you write there are several marketplaces for freelancing articles. Writer access is one I've used in the past. I know there are others, but I'm not sure what they are called. It's not great $, but it's something.

  Soooo contact those people. You cannot work and watch your baby at the same time. Any rail work from home jobs require childcare and usually transitioned from an office job or are available to people with specific skill sets. But again, you still need childcare.

  I know someone with an at-home call center job through a company called Convergys. I know they hire in most states. I'd post a link but that's probably against the TOU or something.
  She's a SAHM, although she only works in the evenings when her husband is home to take care of the kids.
  
  Other than that, most people I know who work at home got a job where they worked in the office for a while first and had employers who allowed work at home. If you have career experience, I'd explore options in your field and talk to people you know about any at-home opportunities. And if it's anything more than part-time extra help with flexible deadlines, expect to need childcare.

  My SIL and my neighbor both work from home, but they have been at their jobs for years! My SIL does graphic design from home, while neighbor works for an insurance company.  I love the idea of working from home but I think you really have to network/know people to make it happen.  I think selling Avon, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc are probably your best bet.  Good luck!

  As pps have said, those jobs pretty much don't exist, if it was that easy everyone would do it!  The only thing that hasn't been mentioned is babysitting for another LO in your home, or arranging for a nanny position where they will allow you to bring your LO.  But only consider this if you truly enjoy working with children.  Before having kids I was a f/t nanny while in school and when I graduated a kindergarten teacher, watching another LO in our home made sense for me, but it's not for everyone.

  I actually work from home too. I am a certified teacher....and I score various teacher assessments online and other things, such as the SAT essays, for ETS and Pearson. Something to keep my brain active. lol... I also work for a virtual personal assistant company, which is great because I can work whenever, as much or little as I want. There are definitely things to be found if you look! There are whole websites dedicated to SAHM's.
