are you looking for infant daycare or toddler/preschool daycare? the costs vary depending on their age as well as the "curriculum" for that program. oftentimes a daycare center is more expensive than an in-home center, but they often require more training and are more stringent on the number of children to teacher ratios and things like that. we pay for almost 1400/month for a Goddard school, but for us, the cost is worth it considering everything our LO is learning.
Re: Cost of childcare?
Daycare really can vary. I toured many different places and they can range from $250/ week to $365/week.
I found a daycare that runs $315 / week. You just know which one is right for you when you walk in and tour the place.
All infants have to go Full Time since most daycare places don't crib share.
Also, many daycare places have waiting lists. I have been waiting about a year to get into the one I really like.
GOod luck!
