I went in for my 41w4d appointment on Monday Oct 13, Dr. said I was 5cm; 70% effaced and everything looked excellent. There really wasn't any reason why I was not in labor yet. They scheduled me to be induced on tuesday so i went home to prepare, i guess my womb must be the greatest resort on earth. At 8:30pm that night i took a shower and while toweling off my water broke, it felt like warm water leaking. I called DH to let him meet me at the hospital, my mom, dad and

MIL were with me. I was admitted and checked at 9:30pm I was 6cm and contracting continuously every 1-2mins I was in hell. There were no pauses only decreased pain so my pain level stayed at 6-10 the entire time. At 10:30pm I was in the birthing room praying for that pain to end and being mean to everyone (i was told) as I begged for the Epidural, after what felt like forever i was happy and calm. At 11:00pm I was ready to go the Dr. asked if i wanted to try pushing and I said no (i am a pain in the ass). My reasoning was that she would be born on the 13th which will be bad luck since her birthday would sometimes fall on a friday. Everyone just stared at me like I was crazy, my H must really love me because he said "can we wait?" My mom said "this is like DS all over again" The Dr smiled and said he would be back at 11:40. At 11:40 Dr was back he asked if i wanted to try pushing just to see how close she was I agreed it took him and the nurse 10mins to prep I started pushing at 11:50 she was out at 11:53pm on Oct 13 LOL. The Dr. on our 40w visit told us she was going to be maybe 8lbs so when she came out he said "that's a shock i was way off" I immediately felt panic thinking omg "Its a boy". I said what like 50 times but everyone was ignoring me. I found out it was because she was over 10lbs I already knew that since the moment she came out they laid her on my chest I felt like it was going to cave in lol. I was proud of my big girl, DH said my resort had good food. She came into this world as quite as her brother not a sound just extremely hungry, and like him once she realized there was no food she began to scream. We are so happy with our bundle thanks for sharing these moments with us.
