Hi everyone, things have been super hectic and I have been stressed so I decided to take a little bumpcation while we moved into our new home. We closed at the beginning of October and painted every room, tore down walls, and got unpacked finally. It was insane for a little bit and I even painted, I know, flame away, but I made sure to get okayed and wore a mask and took plenty of breaks! We did different shades of grey all over with hints of blue and green and I adore it!
In other news my baby is still inside, incubating. My original due date was last week but based on charting I convinced them it was this week. No signs of baby coming except that I have started prodromal labor? I feel like an idiot because I called yesterday to tell my midwife my contractions were 1 and a half to two minutes apart but not very painful. They went on like that all day. She made me come in which meant I had to get a babysitter and call DH, I am humiliated because I am only 1.5 cm though I am completely soft and baby is very low. I feel like an idiot, I tried to tell her on the phone they were not painful.
Anyways, the contractions have kept up all night and all day though I know they aren't real, it is pretty uncomfortable and makes it hard to sleep, but at least I have been given the clearance to stop timing them until they become something different. My dad came to stay with us now so we have a babysitter, but that of course messes up my routine and makes me feel like a watched pot, between that and the contractions I am starting to get antsy even though I was super proud of how patient I have been waiting for this baby. I started losing my mucus plug and having some stomach flu symptoms yesterday in all the commotion, but I'm getting worried my dad will be here for another 2 weeks!
