Did anyone here VBAC with their twins?

I've searched this board for vbac stories but most are about vbacing after twins. Did anyone here vbac with their twins?
I am a good candidate for vbac- low trans. incision, etc. Reason for c/s was because DD was in distress on a routine NST- so not a problem with mom or labour. Baby A is head down and bigger. OB is supportive and would do breech extraction of B if necessary.
However, now that I sit down to think about my (vag) birth preferences, I realize that there are so many more unknowns/uncontrollable factors with a twin vag delivery and I already know I'm not going to get some of the things I might want (eg. OB has already told me she won't let me squat to deliver). I'm starting to think we should just forget it and go with a c/s. I know it's no walk in the park, but at least we know what we're getting into.
Any experiences?

  • No experience either but I was just curious why your ob won't let you push squatting? Is it because it's a vbac?

I really don't know; i thought it was strange. I can push "squatting" in the bed, which is really just sitting with your feet planted, holding on to the squat bar, but she demonstrated a real squat on the floor and said no to that kind of squatting. When I went on the hospital tour it was clear that they really prefer the semi reclined, holding your knees position.

  • I'm betting its for their own convenience then if they will let you semi squat in the bed.....the squatting position on the floor is probably uncomfortable for the ob
