Best reason to not run a marathon (Intro)

Cautiously deciding it's time to intro here again on PGAL- why do I feel like admitting I'm pregnant will jinx it? I am now 5w6d pregnant and so far everything looks on track. This is pregnancy number 6, will be child number 3 if successful (Today I am pregnant...deep breath). First ultrasound is tomorrow and getting more nervous as now I'm down to an hours countdown. Enjoying every twinge of a symptom and obsessing over every lack or change in symptoms. It's nice to be in similar company!

Two weeks ago Sunday I was supposed to run the Chicago Marathon. I put in every training run and was a mere days away when a gut instinct had me test and a second line showed up-after all we had just begun RPL testing and was getting ready to broach the subject of an RE with my OB. I had a hard time believing my eyes. Needless to say, I didn't run but instead supported my husband through his run. In hindsight I should have told him along the way.

I do plan to continue running, but not those kind of distances!!
