NYC is littered with donut shops, specifically Dunkin Donuts. This one I can see out my kitchen window. it's rough to not pop across the street every time I think about donuts. (Which is a lot)
My daily struggle isn't so much trying to avoid something - it's trying to get enough protien! I've never been a huge 'meat' eater (not vegetarian) but I just have never eaten a ton of meat to begin with! I feel like I'm not getting enough for baby.
You don't have to eat meat for protein. You can get it in eggs and beans/legumes and other stuff. I have a bowl of Cheerios with protein every morning.
My struggle is to convince the baby that leftovers are good and Thai food every day is not good for mommy's ass. I'm losing.
My daily struggle is to eat. I am starving but nothing is appealing. Plus I work night shift so my eating is already screwed up. Every time I prepare something it tastes terrible.

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
@KellyFM522 when I was pregnant with DS1 I worked at 36th and 5th ave. My 5 minute walk from Penn Station took me past 4 dunkins, 3 Starbucks, 1 Tim Hortons, and about 50 bodegas. I get it. The struggle is real!!! I would then get a whole wheat bagel with low fat cream cheese and tell myself that it was "healthy" haha.
1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks

@Starbuck128 it's pretty much as amazing as it seems. I still pinch my self to see if I'm dreaming. It's actually so great for kids, we are never bored.

This! Anything we fix or even pick up sounds so good until I sit down to eat it. Then even the smell can be horrible. Hoping it gets better for the both of us!

What is your daily struggle?
My daily struggle is I see things like donuts shop pictures and my head goes..you like donuts. But then my stomach pipes in and goes...not today, bitch. *barf*
I was like that 2 weeks ago. I did not want that sweet goodness. But that recently changed..... And my appetite has almost returned and donuts are on the menu.
@KellyFM522 Pizza!!! I live in NYC and my friend just turned me on to my new favorite pizzeria. I'm in there at least 5 times a week. Since I'm not cooking as much as usual, I bring a lot of pizza home for dinner. Fortunately DH and DS thinks it's a great spot as well. Interestingly enough, I attended 2 different kids birthday parties within a month and they ordered pizza from the same pizzeria.

Where? I'm downtown like 2 blocks from WTC/ Trinity Church
My struggle is eating in general. I am SO hungry all the time but every time I eat, no matter what it is, I get nauseous and feel horrible. I can't win.
It may be a trek for you from WTC, but worth it! The pizzeria is located on the upper east side, corner of 110 Street and Second Ave. Let me know what you think. Mangia and enjoy!
I am so jealous of all of you! We are stationed in Japan, all I want is chipotle and in and out burger! I can't even walk into a restaurant off base the smells are way too much!
I struggle with not eating too much. My dr told me that I am overweight and should be losing weight in the first trimester. All the foods that I want are not good for weight loss. I also have to lower my blood pressure.

This, except I am in California. I know it isn't healthy but man I could go for a hot dog with onions and sauerkraut, or pizza.
Edit: where is the pizza place? (One track mind)
