Experience with Care.com

I know there is a thread regarding sitter nightmares, but have any of you used care.com and if so, what were your experiences with it? I'm looking to hire a part time nanny and just looking for feedback. I've gotten mixed reviews from some of the moms in my neighborhood, but then on the flip side have a friend who is a nanny and found a great job through the site and she's a phenomenal person.

For some reason when I'm on mobile it won't let me pull up certain threads, even if I try and search for them. It's so weird. The thread will show up at first but then when I refresh it's gone. Has that happened to anyone else?

So now that I'm on my mac I can actually see that there are indeed a lot of responses that reference care.com
