When Brayden was born everyone kept telling me I was never going to sleep and I was going to be exhausted. On top of that those baby blues might creep up, and yes they do but I've found a way to make my days a little bit brighter and somewhat normal. The key for me is to have a schedule. A me schedule. It's so important to get up every morning (when you can) and get dressed! Getting dressed has done wonders for me. Sure I want to stay in my pj's all day but I realized how lazy and depressing that made me feel. Jumping in the shower and throwing on some mascara truly helped. As a "busy" person, meaning I can't stay still and hate to be cooped up, I found a way to bring back a little normal into my life. I suggest trying it and it's ok if baby cries a bit while you get yourself together. Happy Momma = Happy Baby.
