Sooo if this babe turns out to be a girl we have decided on Sawyer as her first name and possibly Elizabeth for the middle name. Thoughts? Any other suggestions for a middle name...needs to be one or three syllables to sounds right with our last name. Our dd is Kinley Lyne...Kinley and Sawyer

I do like Elizabeth tho.
Elizabeth is a beautiful middle name.
Sawyer Annalise (my fav)
Sawyer Emmeline
Sawyer Annabelle
Sawyer Madeline
Sawyer Eloise
Sawyer Louisa
Sawyer Amelia
Sawyer Abigail
Sawyer Alexandra
Sawyer Gabrielle
Sawyer Julianne
Sawyer Josephine
Sawyer Valentina
Sawyer Genevieve
Sawyer Adelaide
Sawyer Evangeline
we are not super set on it I guess...our other choice is Brooklyne. Actually the only Sawyers I know are girls so I am surprised by the responses. Thanks for your input anyways
I like different names so Sawyer on a girl doesn't bother me at all
Are you pronouncing the second syllable of Brooklyne as LINE? I would assume that from the spelling. If you are pronouncing it like the borough in NYC, spell it that way. I don't care for it but at least it sounds more feminine.
Elizabeth is lovely. There are plenty of nickname options to personalize it and it is so much more feminine and classy than your other choices.
Name ideas (I don't care for all of them because boyish/unisex names for girls just aren't my style, but they are the more masculine style you seem to like without being screamingly boyish):
Teagan
Harper
Piper
Sydney
Morgan
Hadley
Harlow
Sloane
Shelby
I really would love the name if the two were reversed? Elizabeth Sawyer?
FTR, Sawyer doesn't really strike me as either masculine or feminine. It's a surname, which always feels genderless to me.

Neither of these is especially feminine. And despite whether your background is literary or pop culture, one of these images is going to come to mind. It's a terrible name for a girl.
Also, some food for thought on Brooklyne - I imagine that's going to be a nightmare for pronunciation, because there is absolutely no word in the world where Lyne is pronounced "Lynn." The e at the end is a sign to pronounce that middle vowel as a long one. Also, my brother named his daughter Brooklyn and has been really disappointed in people's reactions. Bascially no one over the age of 30 likes it, and half the people they've told who are under 30 don't like it. So that's about 75% of the people they've told who don't like the name. Personally, I wouldn't want to have a name that a majority of people thought was awful.
What about a different unisex name?
Morgan. Taylor. Bailey. Riley. Etc.
I appreciate the input and will more than likely still be going with Sawyer. I think the name is very country not masculine and I think it will fit for my family. Thank you for the other suggestions the middle name will most likely be Elizabeth or Jade. While it may not be your name choice it is not very nice to call it awful.

FWIW, I don't like Sawyer on a boy or a girl. I do know a little boy named Sawyer. No girls with that name. I like the name Brooklyn, but I think it's becoming too trendy. Use Lyne as a middle name, but don't stick it on another name as it won't look or sound right.
Please use correct spelling. My name is Alycia, and while I've grown to like the spelling it was a bitch growing up. I've been called everything from Ashley to Allison. A-lish-a to al-eye-see-a. But the worst part was I could never get a pencil or little keychain with my name on it. Hmph.
