Griffin heart update

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to update after our EKG and cardiologist appt. Friday. Griffin got a great report! His cardiologist said his heart looked wonderful in his echo, his EKG was normal, and he is 'healthy as a horse'

. He said the only reason we even need to tell babysitters that he was born with a heart defect is so that if there's an emergency and a doctor sees his scar, they don't think there's still something wrong with his heart. We go back in 6 months for a check and then likely annually after that. This Friday (10/24) it will be exactly one year since we got the super scary diagnosis. It has not been the easiest year through all the unknowns and his open heart surgery, but I really appreciate the support of the ladies on this board every step of the way. Thank you so much!
