1. Where do you live - just the state/area if you're not comfortable sharing city.
2. You are going to a deserted island for a month. You can take 3 things with you - what are they? (assume that necessities like food/blankets/toilet paper are provided for you - tell us the items which are peculiar to you)
Re: Tuesday GTKY
2. Kindle loaded with books (and extra batteries I guess - egrrr... one item), hair ties, huge tub of Olay face cream
2. Books, all my scrapbooking stuff and sunglasses
2. Pre-loaded Nook, case of wine, sunscreen
@jlaOK I was torn between wine and hair ties. But I hate when hair is in my face so much sometimes the ties won. Although if I had wine, possibly I wouldn't care? .... decisions....
@tas1883 no cheating! Kid is disqualified. Dog gets to stay.
2. iPad (with kindle app and other games, etc.); tons of sunscreen to cover my fair Irish skin and avoid catching fire; really comfy beach chair.
I'm assuming there is shade under the gorgeous palm trees to avoid the sun. Seriously - I burn in like 5 minutes. #redheadproblems
2. Wine. Comfy lounge pants. Pen and paper, I'd want to unplug but maybe catch up some writing and planning.
1. Grand Rapids, MI metro area
2. Sunscreen, a fully loaded Kindle with a magical battery that never runs low, and my cell phone (assuming there is also wifi on the deserted island) so I can FaceTime with DH and LOs.
1. Dallas
2. Sunglasses, pizza, books
a book or some kind of e-reader, pen/pencil and paper... if i can't bring my kid or DH, i'd bring one of my cats
1. Wyoming
2. loaded kindle and my two Border Collies
Only because Im assuming the booze is already available on my tropical deserted island.

2. the iPad that I don't own, comfy floating lounge chair, and since wine is considered a necessity, some Captain Morgan

2. I'm not playing. I have zero interest in being on a desert island, or deserted island. However, I do have this plan where my family bugs out to an off-the-grid cabin up in the mountains, and we raise goats and rabbits and grow vegetables in a green house. I watch a lot of Doomsday Preppers.
