How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 12 weeks - Plum

How are you feeling? Been feeling ok.

Favorite moment of the week? I have 2. #1 - Hearing baby's heartbeat at my apt yesterday after my freak out (discussed below) #2 - Spending the entire weekend relaxing with just my mom and son (DH worked overtime this weekend, and my dad was with my uncle)

Least favorite moment of the week? Had some spotting after my weekly u/s last Wed and Thurs. Cue the freakout!

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? My symptoms seem to be getting better as far as the nausea goes... eating every 3-4 hrs has it pretty much under control right now. I am feeling a lot more stretching and pulling now.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? PgAL brain has subsided since yesterday but I am sure it will flare back up again after a while. Always does.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Looking forward to getting out of first tri next week.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 26 weeks, butternut squash

How are you feeling? Still pretty good and am excited that this is the last week of 2nd trimester. This trimester has gone by much more quickly than the first. Almost in the home stretch!

Favorite moment of the week? Getting to be enrolled into the class I need! Even though I was something like 15 on the waitlist, so many people who were enrolled and waitlisted just didn't show up that there was no issue with me adding the class. Yay! It is the one pre-requisite I needed before getting to start my BSN next fall.

Least favorite moment of the week? Stupid PGAL brain making me feel anxious.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? My gums are getting more sore now and bleed every time I floss. Boo. Other than that, everything is about the same.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? My emails and pregnancy apps all talk about the signs to watch out for with PTL and it's been on my mind. Every little thing makes me stop and think.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? My GTT is on Monday and 3rd tri starts next week.

I bought a skeleton maternity shirt to wear to work and I hope it gets here on time. I ordered it awhile ago, but there was an issue with shipping, so haven't received it yet.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 38 weeks, pumpkin

How are you feeling? Like I'm 9 months pregnant. Big, sore everywhere now pretty much all of the time, and tired because it's hard to sleep comfortably. It's worth it, but I'm definitely feeling ready to meet LO!

Favorite moment of the week? Finished all of the important stuff left on our to-do list, so that I can just relax the next couple of weekends. And go on an early anniversary date with H this weekend (LO is due 2 days before our 5th anniversary!).

Least favorite moment of the week? I was in so much pain by Sunday afternoon after all of the cleaning and errands and being on my feet too much.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Nothing new really, just all more intense- more real pain vs discomfort, more frequent heartburn, etc.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Feeling good emotionally. Yesterday morning as I pulled onto the street where I park at work right in front of me there was a mini-rainbow in the sky. It hadn't rained at all and wasn't in the forecast, so I took it as a good sign :-)

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? At my appointment last week I had an US and everything looked great, baby was measuring 7lbs 12oz give or take a pound, which sounded huge to me but the dr wasn't concerned and said it was right in the middle of the normal range. I was 30% effaced last week, I have an appointment tomorrow with my midwife and am hoping to show a little more progress!

Are you dressing up for Halloween next week? Nope, if baby hasn't made an appearance yet I'll be spending the evening on the sofa watching a scary movie and eating chocolate!

ETA: H and I have finally narrowed down a boy's name, but we're still having a hard time choosing a girl's name. I posted about it this morning on PAIF- if anyone wants to take a look, I welcome all feedback :-)

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you?
33 weeks, durian fruit. I've actually had durian fruit once, but it still doesn't help me picture her size/weight. But I was amazed to read she's probably somewhere between 4 and 5 pounds, and probably will grow an inch this week. That's amazing!

How are you feeling?
I'm sure you were all on pins & needles waiting for a rash update, right? Well, the good news is that it is finally clearing up. We still don't know what it was, but it's almost over now. Phew!

Favorite moment of the week?
My baby shower was this Saturday. And my sweet friend from all the way back in elementary school threw the party & did a wonderful job. The best part was that my brother and his wife came too, and they are expecting their first baby after years of IF struggles; I hadn't seen them since the good news and it was just so great to get to celebrate together. I'm including some pics below.

Least favorite moment of the week?
Ugh...definitely the day I had a miserable time trying to get an Rx from CVS for my demon rash, with my dr calling it in 4 times (!!!) and CVS saying they never got it, and then it turned out the dang thing my doc wanted me to use was over the counter!! And then when I finally finally got the anti-itch stuff, I got to the parking lot and my car's power steering had mysteriously broken. And I'm too weak to drive it with out power steering. It was not the best moment. I took a mental health day off from work the next day to recover and try to heal my ridiculous rash.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones?
I think I've done enough complaining for one post....

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?
Doing okay. It's still a little hard to do celebrating with a lot of people, and hard to believe everything really is going to be okay, but most of the time I'm doing fine and feeling excited about LO arriving in 50ish days.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?
No appts. this week, but I am looking forward to making some nursery progress. DH finally finished painting and cleaning out the room (yay!!!) and I'm itching (ha!) to get all her furniture set up and all her cute decorations up.

I don't think so. Too tired! But I do think I'll put out decorations for our trick or treaters. And I'm participating in this Teal Pumpkin Project, to have some non-food treats too so kids with severe allergies can still participate in the fun.

How are you feeling? I woke up so nauseous I wanted to stay in bed... with a smile from ear to ear because I never had any nausea last time. I know I can't look into symptoms, but I will still continue to do it on the days it helps me

Favorite moment of the week? Getting to tell my grandma the great news on her birthday

Least favorite moment of the week? All day yesterday at work. It was long, busy, and frustrating.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? I had terrible lower back pain for 3 days that suddenly disappeared on Saturday morning, and the nausea this morning. I'm just so excited to have symptoms this time as a reminder that today, I am pregnant.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Been good today, but crept up on me yesterday. My MC happened at 5w6d last time so I keep finding myself counting down the days till I've passed that milestone.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Still awaiting 10/30 for my first u/s apt @ 6w2d.

@meladoriestar Congrats on a good A/S, that's great news!! I didn't feel movement til about 20 weeks.

@GrailSeeker14 Sorry about the MIL drama. We don't get trick-or-treaters either and I miss it, can't wait to be able to take LO in a few years.

@luciddreamer106 Congrats on getting into the class!! I worried about PTL a lot until I got to around 32 weeks.

@megbmeg So glad that the rash went away and that you had a great shower! Love the pics!

@matiekae Congrats on the symptoms, hope that your milestone comes and goes without any drama.

@meagpt22 Sorry you're so uncomfortable, I'm feeling that way too and can't imagine working on my feet all day. Hope LO comes soon!

@luciddreamer106How was the NST? They didn't do it. I am starting them next week. I saw a different doctor this week (the one I like) and he said it wasn't necessary this week. So I said, okee dokee.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 35 weeks, coconut

How are you feeling? the same, huge and tired

Favorite moment of the week? It actually just happened! I was at the DMV getting my new license plate, registration, title and driver's license and the "triage" person took pity on my huge pregnant self and gave me one of the elderly and disabled numbers vs. regular population numbers so that I would jump to the front of the line. It was magical, he saved me over an hour of waiting in those hard plastic chairs.

Least favorite moment of the week? Definitely my doctor appointment. I was told that the GBS test was a swab, but it felt like a bristle brush and it was very ouchie on my cervix and anus. And then the internal exam was brutal. My OB was really rough (maybe he wasn't, but it hurt) it felt like he shoved his whole fist up there. I have been crampy since the appointment yesterday morning. I think I will decline the next internal check unless he convinces me that it is necessary. She is still really high up and I am unsurprisingly not at all dilated. Until those checks can give me valuable information (my understanding is that they don't give you any great info about your chances of going into labor) I would like to avoid them.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? I have reached weekly appointments until delivery and that is awesome. Next week I will start NSTs for real and we will have a growth u/s.

@Courtney1741 Sorry about the freak out with the u/s! I also had bleeding following an internal u/s and even though I tried to be rational about it, it's just so hard!!!! ((hugs))!

@meladoriestar I love that your little guy grabs his thing often enough that you have caught it more than once on u/s! I keep giggling every time I think about it.

@GrailSeeker14 I'm sorry your MIL continues to be such a PITA! Bah.

@luciddreamer106 Congrats on getting into your class! What a relief!

@rox825 Good for you getting the stuff crossed off your to-do list! I have just realized that my to-do list is still huge. I keep saying I don't want to get stuff done too early, but boy time is running out. And your plan for just relaxing the next couple of weekends if baby doesn't show sounds much smarter!

@megbmeg So glad you had a wonderful shower!! On the pharmacy note, I am a pharmacist and hate it so much when that happens. I usually just pick up the phone and call the office and ask for it over the phone if they'll let me. I'm glad the rash is clearing up though

Doing okay today. Yesterday was an emotional meltdown day; SO said "I think this is your first official crazy pregnant lady day". He was apparently complimenting me because I made it so long without one.

Favorite moment of the week? XXX

We had a blast today looking at potential property. We're starting the search now for a place to build our dream home, even though we wouldn't be looking at building until the spring or summer. Also, this weekend was great. Saturday we had a lego festival to celebrate DS's 6th birthday and he was completely happy, and then Sunday we had a great church service, the pumpkin patch, and maternity photos. It was really busy and tiring, but wonderful.

Least favorite moment of the week? XXX

Yesterday and the day-long meltdown. I cried, I pouted, I was insane.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? XXX

Nothing new, really. Just gettin' bigger.

Doing okay; baby is still pretty active even though he/she is running out of room. Pregnancy tracker said that baby is sleeping 90-95% of the day, so that explains the longer periods without movement during the day.

Nothing this week. Appt last week went well; cervix is still closed up tight and high, so no signs of PTL! Measuring almost a full week ahead consistently. Starting appts every other week, so next appt is next Thursday for 34wks.

No plans to dress up, but DS got his costume tonight and it's hysterical/adorable/fierce. He's a "black ninja" because that's what he wants to be for his career.

@megbmeg and @matiekae I hadn't heard that the GBS test was all that painful either, if it was really a cotton swab I don't think it should have hurt, so maybe my OB was just really rough or maybe he actually used a bristle-y test kit instead of a swab? As far as the unscientific poll on my BMB it sounds like the internal exam is totally no big deal for some ladies and really uncomfortable for others. So maybe I'm just really pain intolerant down there? At any rate, I've decided an epidural is almost certainly in my future.

Favorite moment of the week? Daddy got to feel the babies kick finally, he was so excited!

Least favorite moment of the week? I got my notice that I am being separated from my job. I am relieved I won't have to work with psycho boss anymore, but it stinks to go just before I can use my FMLA and the income til the babies get here... then we went to our ultrasound...

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new
ones? Heartburn, occasional. Insomnia, kinda regular. This burning pain on my right side, there a lot....

How is PGAL brain treating you? Feeling pretty comfortable since the babies move around so much.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking
forward to? I have an appt with the OB on Friday. We should schedule GTT then, and he can say if I do next growth scan with him or MFM. I'm selfishly hoping for MFM, so we can get more 4D pics :-)

@Bigboneded‌ Awww, I love hearing when SO feel babies for the first time. It's so exciting. I'm sorry you're losing your job and the awful timing, but at least you won't have that psycho boss anymore.

@Birch113‌ I'm glad that your asthma is under control. I can imagine how pregnancy could make it worse, so that's good news. I'm sorry about your poor kitty. My cat had most of his teeth pulled several months ago and he's doing just fine. I thought he wouldn't eat the dry food, but he has no issues.
