Got period?

I thought it wouldn't come while I was exclusively breastfeeding, but it came last week when I was 10 weeks postpartem. How many of you who are exclusively breastfeeding have gotten your period already?

    I got mine at around 6-7 weeks pp. On the plus side I used to have debilitating cramps and I haven't had to deal with that once since DD was born.

    I started spotting the day before LO hit 4 months. (So this week) but it stopped in about 12 hours. I've been crampy off and on since. I have no idea what my body is doing.

    I had spotting and cramping last week but it went away without any full-blown period so I don't know if that was it or not. With DS1 I didn't get it back until 5 months PP and it was definitely a regular period. I took a test just to make sure because I was so confused.

    @gallifreygirl, my periods after DS1 were so much better, too. Rarely any cramps, not as heavy as they used to be, and came almost exactly every 28 days. I never went back on BC after I had him so it was nice to still be able to expect when my period would show up. I hope it's the same this time.

    12, almost 13 weeks pp. Started mini pill at 6 weeks. HATED IT. Went off at week 8, so period happened. Nothing since. EBFing still.

    12.5 wks and still waiting. not even spotting. I wish it would arrive. I'm apprehensive about it.

    Exclusively BFing & got my period at 6 weeks PP and am back on my regular schedule. The same happened with DS1.

    14 weeks PP, EBF, and have an IUD. MY OBGYN said I likely won't get it for a year (bc of IUD)

    I haven't yet but my friend did today. Her baby was born the day after mine. 14wks today, EBF & copper IUD.

    12 weeks PP and no period. I'm BF and supplementing a bit with formula. I've heard some BF moms don't get it for eight months though.

    IF history:
    TTC #2 since January 2016
    June-Aug 2017: 3 IUIs w/Clomid = BFN
    Sept 2017: Dx w/Endometriosis
    Oct 2017: IUI w/Letrozole = BFN
    Nov 2017: IUI w/Letrozole = BFN
    Dec 2017: pre-IVF testing
    Jan-Feb 2018: IVF--17 eggs retrieved, 13 fertilized, 9 frozen and 1 transferred on 2/10 = BFP on 2/19!!! EDD 10/29/2018
    FET Oct 2021: BFP on 10/31! MC at 5 weeks
    FET Feb 2022: BFP on 2/15! EDD 10/29/22

    5 weeks PP ugh. right after I stopped bleeding. I have only had spotting since then.

    4 months pp today and still nothing. With DS1 it came back at 10 months, but came back extra long cycles. I'm hoping it comes back a little more regular this time

    02.2013 - loss at 6 wks

    10.2015 - loss at 12 wks

    23 weeks pp and I thought maybe I had a light one at about 8 weeks back in July. But nothing since then. My little guy never got the hang of breast feeding since he was born so early, so I've been pumping for him since day one. I'm surprised it hasn't come back yet. I only pump 5 times a day.... Not sure if that's normal ..

    This! I havnt had my period since 2012, with the two babies. Uhhhh, I dread the day.

    I stopped BF due to a slow decrease in milk supply 2 weeks ago an still nothing. I have cramping off and on and pink every so often on TP, but no bleeding yet. I get paranoid with the cramping so I put a panty liner in if I'm going out.

    15w pp with a mirena. I'm pumping 6x/day and supplementing with formula. I had a never ending bleed from delivery on 7/1 until 1w ago. Hopefully my actual period will be regular like before baby. This guessing game sucks.

    13 weeks PP and nothing yet. With DS I didn't get it until 2 weeks after I stopped pumping/breastfeeding. I am assuming the same may happen this time. When I did get it back cycles were pretty regular

    Nothing yet here. BF and pump once a week while at school. I've read that the night time feedings help keep prolactin levels up to keep it away. DS still wakes at least twice a night so maybe that helps. Honestly idk, but not complaining either since I use to have awful, down for the count cramps.

    FF hear so mine came back around 7w PP.

    Once it stopped, I had the Nexplanon inserted, and now I've had perma period for the last 5 weeks.  It's fun.

    14 weeks PP and I EBF and mine hasn't started either.  

    When I called my OBGYN office about and IUD the girl on the phone said they wouldn't insert it until I had my period but after reading several of your post I'm going to call back.  I'm so afraid of having Irish twins.

    Just had mine last week, it sucked not going to lie. In my opinion it was way to soon after PP bleeding for my liking. I feel sorry for you ladies that are bleeding from IUDs and such.

    Mine didn't come until a good month or more after I stopped EBF.

    I was wondering when mine would come back. After DD1, I went straight onto a BC pill that prevented periods so didn't have one again until several years later when I came off it.
    So far nothing but we want to start TTC again soon so I'm probably in the minority waiting and hoping for it to happen soon.

    You do realize you can get pregnant without your period coming back, right?

    I know it's possible but I was advised to wait for the first AF because of some past issues.
