AW: Eviction Date Set *Update*

I had my 41 week appointment today (despite being 40+5). I had an NST and she did great on it. I'm supposed to have a BPP tomorrow, but the person who does them is out sick right now. They are calling two places they work with to see if they can get me in tomorrow. We'll see. Otherwise I have to wait until Thursday which I'm not really excited about. I'm somewhere around 2-3cm right now, but still only like 50-60% effaced and pretty high up. My dr said she will not let me go past next Wednesday, but would induce me if I want before then once I hit 41 weeks this Wednesday. She thinks my risk of it failing or ending up with a c/s is pretty low, like 10% right this minute.
I ultimately decided to go with Friday if she doesn't come on her own before then. I really hope she does, but I have some kind of mental block against waiting more than that. Part of it is because I don't want to be in the hospital or end up giving birth on MY birthday (next Tuesday). Part of it is that I'm really just uncomfortable with getting that close to 42 weeks if I waited until next week. I am kind of sad that it's possible I won't go into labor on my own and I'm not feeling super excited right now. I am sure that I will get excited again at some point, but today I'm just reminded of my body's past failures to do what it should on it's own.
Update: My doctor's office called me because they are full on Friday for inductions at the hospital. So, I'm going to go on Thursday morning instead. Also, my BPP will be on Wednesday morning.
