Hi All,
I would like to keep my baby in the hospital room with me from birth until I'm released from the hospital (unless there are complications).
I'm a low risk pregnancy, and my doctor anticipates everything will go fine.
Have anyone here given birth at Toronto East General?
I would like to know if they allow the baby to stay with the mother the whole time.
This is my first, and I plan on asking my OB and/or the hospital when I register, but I thought I'd ask here first since.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Keeping baby in the room...
I birthed at East General last year (June 2013) I loved this hospital and had such a great experience. They do rooming in- which means the baby is with you from birth until discharge, unless there are obvious complications that need to be addressed.
