Hi, everybody. I have had the worst week with allergies -- i am so, so sick. I've also been fighting this uphill battle trying to get a replacement part for my peg leg and I am run down and deflated and exhausted. I am hoping that I feel better tomorrow (after a week of this nastiness) so I will try to respond to everyone (sorry for those I missed last week, when this unpleasantness hit). I am sorry to not tag people this week.
Welcome to first tri check-in. This board is for those of us who want to
stay in the safety of the PgAL board yet still have first tri
questions, concerns, or fears. We have had a number of new BFPs on the
main board (yay!) this week and if you would like to join in our
check-in, please do so! We have also had a number of TTCAL graduates
(extra yay!). If you aren't tagged in this post, please feel free to
join!
Answer what questions you would like, ignore the ones you don't like.

Re: First Trimester Check-in (10/20)
Worries (rational or irrational) : I'm worried that there won't be anything to see on my scan this Friday.
Appointments scheduled: Beta & ultrasound on Friday
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: None until next year, just passed my last EDD a month ago.
QotW: What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? Favorite alcohol fueled drink? N/A, Diet Coke, I miss it so much. Alcoholic, red wine.
@footprint I'm sorry you've felt so sick. FX that you feel better soon.
@beckynsean11 FX that you see your little one on Friday.
Worries (rational or irrational) I finally got my NT scan scheduled for Friday. I'm just worried that they are going to tell me that something is wrong, but I would worry if I didn't have the scan, so I'd rather just know how everything looks.
Appointments scheduled I have a NT scan on Friday, and a regular OB appointment on Monday.
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates November-early December is when I was pregnant last year.
QotW: What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? Favorite alcohol fueled drink? My favorite non-alcoholic drink is a chai tea latte (iced or hot). My favorite alcoholic drink is a good strong IPA, or a blended strawberry margarita.
@footprint thanks for the check-in. I hope you feel better soon.
EDD/Week/Fruit: June 30/3w6d/poppy seed
Worries (rational or irrational): ummm... Everything? But mostly betas for now (I have my first tomorrow, at 15 dpo)
Appointments scheduled: Just betas so far, Tues & Thurs this week
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: well, my earliest of 3 losses was 4w6d, so I'm hoping to sail last that milestone this week, for starters.
QotW: What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? Favorite alcohol fueled drink?
Non-alcoholic: coffee
Alcoholic: wine
Hope the rest of you ladies get good news at your appointments. Thinking of the three of you.
EDD/Week/Fruit 5-27/Week 8 raspberry
Worries (rational or irrational) Feeling ok right now. My ultrasound last week went well. We saw a strong heartbeat, and a cute little bean.
Appointments scheduled Doc is pretty sure it was one baby, but thought at one point she saw two stacked on top of each other, so have to go back next week to double check.
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates Nah
QotW: What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? Favorite alcohol fueled drink? Non-alcoholic: white mocha
Alcoholic: wine
EDD/Week/Fruit: 7/1/15, 3+5, poppyseed
Worries (rational or irrational): I've been having some off and on cramping which I know is totally normal and I had it with DS, but it still worries me. I had cramping right before I miscarried as well so it's always in the back of my mind
Appointments scheduled: I had a pap scheduled for Nov. 10th, so I'm going to call my OB's office and see if we can do the first prenatal appointment then.
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: I miscarried at 5 weeks before so that'll come up next week. For some reason I feel better about this pregnancy than the last one. I think because the last one was a surprise so I was in shock and then miscarried so quickly it never really sunk in. QOTW: unfortunately I LOVE dr. Pepper, it's terrible. Recently my alcoholic beverage of choice has been a blackberry cider from a local company, only out on tap though, b/c I'm a snob like that

Worries (rational or irrational):
Brown spotting continues. Over a week now, despite being on pelvic rest. It slowed down over the weekend, but started up again last night. Makes my Pgal brain crazy. Last U/S was a week ago, where we saw two healthy heartbeats. Radiologist and doctor reassured me, and I keep reading this can be totally normal, especially with twins. Still, I worry. Pelvic rest for another week.
Appointments scheduled: Next appt and U/S is 10/28. Waiting for appt confirmation on NT and MateriT21 tests.
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: My due date for my first pregnancy is 11/9.

Hope everyone's doing well!!

I still check the tp for blood, but it a reflex, at this point and not a conscious action. I hope you are able to find some peace this week as you move through your loss milestone. Mine was difficult, too, as I am sure they were for most women. Are the mantras helping you at all?
