Ugh!!! My legs! And my bowels!

Okay, so Charlie horses while trying to poo, finaly, for the first time is days... Help!

  • Gatorade? Avocados? Muscle cramps are usually caused by lowered potassium levels.

    Could it be sciatic pain? I get it when I sit certain ways.

  • Bananas and like a tablespoon of salt! I'll get up during the night to pee and have a horrible leg cramp and if I eat about a tablespoon of salt it instantly goes away!

    I've had bad leg cramps most of my life, this has always helped
  • Well, THAT is a wicked combination!  Charley horses are usually issues with electrolytes.  Salt, potassium and magnesium.  PP have give good advice about eating some salt and bananas.  don't forget the magnesium though!
  • I got horrible leg cramps with my last pregnancy. The best advice I got and the thing that helped the most was to flex my toes when it happened and not to point them.

    I've always liked salt, sometimes I grab the seasoning salt...plus if i have one of those craps the pain outweighs the taste
