6 weeks pregnant with twins ! OMG !

I'm aged 40, I have a 5 year old son & have had 4 miscarriages in the last 2 years.
I've been seeing a private fertility consultant with a view to having IVF in December.
he suggested a few things to try whilst we're trying incl DHEA & COQ10 & others.
the cycle I got my BFP he said to try cyclogest from ovulation, then continue if I got a BFP, low dose steroid from BFP & clexane from BFP & others.
I went for an early scan on Friday & they found 2 sacs, 2 embryos, 2 heartbeats !!!! OMG OMG OMG !!!!
I know I'm far from out of the woods but we've never got to a heartbeat stage before so I'm overjoyed !!!
I have another scan in 2 weeks & an appointment with a high risk consultant in 2 weeks, my GP says I tick every high risk box on the list (great !) so I know I can't count my chickens yet but I'm trying to remain quietly positive !
does anyone have anything positive they can share with me re successful pregnancy after recurrent miscarriage or successful pregnancy with multiples ?

BFP #2 6/2010, DD lost to congenital heart disease, we are heartbroken.

2/2013 TI w/ hormonal support, prednisone, aspirin, Lovenox, acupuncture gave us a miracle BFP #5!

IVF #1- retrieved 17, 3 mature for 2 day transfer, BFN
IVF #2- September…our last chance….. retrieved 22, 6 mature blasts, 2 embies transferred, BFP (300 beta) on Oct 1st, Beta #2 675 Oct 3rd, Beta #3 2,484
EDD Twins 06/09/2015
1/30/2015 PPROM at 21 weeks, 3 days. Hospital bed rest to let these sweet peas cook. Holding on for 34 weeks!

IUI #1 - #4 - bfn (late 2015 to early 2016)
01/03/17 - 12mm x 6mm polyp removed from uterus- neg path, yay!
IUI #5 - February 2017. Hoping for some magic

I'm feeling quite positive whilst still holding a little bit of myself back in case of bad news (I am quite an optimistic person but 4 miscarriages has taken its toll lol)
I have some spare blood forms so I might get my HCG's done this week to put my mind at rest as my next scan isn't until the following week.
hopefully if things continue ok, I'll just chill a bit & stop being so anxious !

your 1st scan is the day before my 2nd scan, FX it all goes amazingly, pls let me know x
I'm CONVINCED the steroids, blood thinner & progesterone have done the trick ! did you continue with that protocol until 12 weeks or longer ?
congrats on your successful pregnancy, gives me lots of hope x
that's amazing news ! I got caught straight after my last m/c with no cycle in between.
are your twins in separate sacs ? how exciting ! are you having a 2nd scan soon ? x
