Need help with middle name!!!

Hello (:

This is my first baby and we have chosen the name Camden for his first name. Though, we are unsure of what to make his middle name! I have no clue where to even start! Help please?

  • Is there a family name you can use?

  • Loading the player...
  • I like to play with the baby name genie. Enter said first and last name and it will randomly generate middle names.

  • Do you have preferences? Like, I don't like baby names that are also nouns.

    I like these names:

    Tobias
    Fynn
    Elliot
    Tristan
    Donovan
    Spencer
    Blake
    Bennett
    Theodore
    Gabriel
    Wesley

  • Riley
    DD#1 (6), DD#2 (4), DD#3 (0)
  • I like James if you have a multi-syllable last name.
  • Agree with jenLy. Any family names? DH, dads, grandpas, uncles, brothers??
  • I agree on the family names... We are choosing random first names and only family names for the middle ones.
  • If you don't have a family name you want to use, what about using the middle name to give your little boy a role model?  Someone with characteristics you hope he emulates?

For instance, a favorite author, politician, musician, poet, movie character, literary character, etc.

When we were first considering a name for a girl, we were thinking of Anne for a middle name because of Anne of Green Gables, which is one of my favorite books (and Anne is one of my all time favorite characters).

If I went by this and I was having a girl then her middle name would be Hermione. *nerd*
I think that's a good choice! Apparently Hermione as a first name is on the rise, unsurprisingly.

For a more subtle tribute, you could use Jean as that's Hermione's middle name.

  • I like family names as many above mentioned, also James, Scott, Michael, August... Very cute first name, so many possibilities for a middle :)
  • James, Michael, Robert, Thomas, Alexander, Andrew, Jackson, David, Joshua, etc.

  • Maybe start by narrowing down the number of syllables you want in the name? See how the rhythm flows with your last name. You may want a single syllable like James, 2 like Michael or 3 like Anthony.
    Good luck!
