Yet again, another poll...Between two girl names

I am so stuck between these two names its very hard for me to decide on it and well on anything in general. Please help, My 9yr old daughters name is Karina Olivia, so I wanted the names close. HELP!

I would consider choosing a different middle name. With the names so close to your 9y/o's you might have trouble when calling out to them. At least if they are in trouble and you do the whole first and middle name thing to let them know they are in trouble, they will catch on faster as to which one you are calling out.

I get wanting to have the names "close", but why would you want Olivia as a mn for both?

Those names are TOO close. I would confuse the crap out of myself.

IMO, your potential names are way tooooo close. I'd ditch both fn's and definitely ditch the mn.

I did the same middle name for both because me and my sister have the same middle name, and we are very close, idk if im expecting the same thing between them. but hey, I love the name Olivia. @HailsMom and @Michelle142

I wouldn't use Olivia for both of their middle names. And understanding you want them close, those just seem too close in my opinion. How about Kiera? Or something along those lines?

I didn't think of it that way I guess, maybe because I didn't feel that way being that all of my siblings and most of my nieces and nephews names start with "K" and me and my youngest sister have the same middle name, to be it was cool you know. but that is something to think about.. thanks @sugahcookie01

I love Kahlia. It will probably be our lo's middle name. It means precious one in Hawaiian. I think it is also easier to distinguish from your older daughter's name.

I chose Kahlia because I think it'll get the least pronunciation problems. I'm not huge on either of them and I think it might make both daughters too close name wise. I think Carissa, Clarissa, Kalya, Kiera or something similar might be great or maybe even Serena or a name that rhymes with Karina. It keeps the names close but not too close.

As far as middle names, all 3 girls in my family share one middle name (we each have 2 middle names though) and I never minded. I actually thought it was cool that we got to have something in common no matter what changed in life and I'm keeping that tradition for my kids. You might consider adding another middle name in just for her if you want to keep using Olivia.

I think the same middle name is cute for both daughters (friend of mine did this), however if you do that, I would choose a totally different first name. Something that doesn't match at all.
