Bleeding From Teething??

DS has his two bottom teeth and his two top teeth have broken through the gums but are not fully in yet. He was just happily sitting on the floor playing with toys when he let out the loudest, blood curdling scream. I picked him up and his entire mouth was filled with blood! I washed it out with cold water and gave him a frozen cloth to chew on and he seems fine now. I put in a call to the pediatrician office (waiting for a call back). I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this with their LO??

cant say i have. maybe he somehow scraped the inside of his mouth with a toy? my LO did that a few months ago and i thought it was his gums until further investigation. he somehow managed to cut the roof of his mouth with a toy. he was totally okay thought and the pedi said it would heal fine. and it did. LO was never too fussy over it. hopefully everything is just fine with your LO

I spoke with the pediatrician on call. She said it happens sometimes to just give Tylenol and cool wash cloth to chew on. Done and done and he is happy as can be!

Thanks @narcissticbeaut‌ all is well with little A. I actually think he is grinding his bottom teeth on his top gums :-SS hopefully it doesn't happen again!

Yes, this happened when LO had his bottom teeth and was cutting his top teeth. The bottom teeth would cut his gums as he bit down. No worries! All is normal.
