Pregnant after a Loss

PgAL moment- loss of bloating?

Alright ladies, so I know my PgAL brain in kicking into action. This morning I woke up feeling pretty good (though I have never really felt "bad") and my bloating has seemed to disappear (I am 10W). I did forget to take my progesterone suppository last night, so maybe it is just because of that? Naturally, my mind is going straight to a bad place since I just don't have many symptoms at all (sore boobs would be about it).

Has anyone noticed a change in symptoms after missing a dose of progesterone? Thanks in advance for listening to my nonsense here! For that, I give you some fresh baked goodies

Re: PgAL moment- loss of bloating?

  • Hugs. I know loss of symptoms can feel scary but they really do come and go. I remember feeling the same early on.

  • The bloating went away for me, too, although I think it was a little bit earlier. I had even bought maternity clothes because of how big I was getting, but I still don't need them. For some women, the worst symptoms only last a few weeks, then your body adjusts. As you say, fluctuating doses of progesterone can also be responsible for changing symptoms. That said, I kept thinking the nausea and food aversions had stopped, then they would be back stronger than ever a day or two later.

Symptoms really mean almost nothing. Just watch for real bleeding and cramping, otherwise you're probably okay! I know this is easier said that done. When is your next appt? ((hugs))

  • I had the same happen to me around 10 weeks(I'm now 18w). Freaked me out too because my symptoms had been minimal. Just hang in there your body is probably just getting used to the influx of hormones. Just hang in there!
  • Thank you ladies! I appreciate all of the responses! PgAL brain is a real b*tch! DH certainly doesn't know what to say to me because last time I lost all my symptoms (1st pregnancy), I did end up having a missed mc. This pregnancy has made it much further than my last 3 and the fact that we have seen a good heartbeat twice is promising. I do have an ultrasound on Thursday this week, followed by my NT scan next week. I am hoping that both bring good news and a sense of calmness.

  • I'm 11 weeks and my bloat has shifted around. More some days and less others. I know PGAL brain is awful. Fx for a good ultrasound this week. Hopefully it will help ease some of your fears.

  • Just sending you some sanity :-*

Pgal brain is awful. I have no experience with symptom loss. I pretty much had zero symptoms, so I can relate a bit!

I tried to remind myself that every pregnancy is different and symptoms or no symptoms really means nothing.
