Teeth shifting?

Had anyone else noticed their teeth shifting/moving? Not loose, but suddenly I have a little gap between my 2 front teeth that has never been there before. I feel like Michael Strahan! I know that there are a handful of dental issues that can come up with pregnancy, I was not aware that this was one of them.

This happens to me too, also when I floss my teeth just in general feel loose. My doc told me it's just another perk of pregnancy.

Yes! My two front bottom teeth are starting to cross over. I asked my dentist and he said that as we get older our teeth start to shift around. And being pregnant we can have a lot of changes in our mouths. Gums loosening and what not. Just gotta embrace it I guess!

Glad to know I'm not crazy. I was just flossing tonight and had a moment where I was like "have they always been like that?" I thought I was having a serious pregnancy brain incident.

Not my teeth moving but my jaw. The last few days I've had some serious jaw pain that's radiated into my ears. I am guessing it's TMJ even though I've never had it before. It's so odd.

I had braces just 2 years ago and I remember someone telling me about pregnancy making their teeth shift. I'm extra paranoid now so I wear my retainer a lot around the house. No way all that time & money is going to waste!

When was your last cleaning? You should have two while pregnant. Mention it next time you go to the dentist. It's most likely pregnancy related, but there may be something else. Better safe than sorry!

As a giants fan I love big ol' Michael strahan. You know Madonna has a gap that she had fixed and then had the gap replaced again, bc I guess it's a signature. I had loose teeth in my first pregnancy but this time I have swollen gums. My gum on my right side hung down over my tooth one night and then fixed itself the next day. Another oral dilemma I have been having which I had with my first are tonsil stones, which are disgusting.
I guess the tonsil stones are from an overload of calcium or bc I have had constant sinus issues this pregnancy.

I've had a gap in my teeth since I was young. It was the only thing wrong with my teeth so I never got braces because I didn't care about it that much. Now that I'm older everyone says it's one of my standout qualities. It's been closing with pregnancy! I had no idea this could happen.

I had braces in high school, so as soon as I noticed it happening I thought about how my mom was going to kill me wasting her money lol
