moving!!

My husband and I just closed on a new house. I feel useless :( I'm usually the first girl to lift boxes, take apart furniture, etc. The only thing I've been doing is washing and folding clothes, and tossing things into boxes. I feel horrible but thankfully my husband is on the baby's side! He gets mad anytime I try to do too much.
Is there anything you can't do that makes you feel... Helpless/Pregnant?!

    Same here, my place of business is relocating from our temporary location to a new, permanent one. We moved four months ago and I was involved in some heavy lifting, but not this time! Some of my co-workers even worked on the weekend last weekend and I opted out of that. I felt bad, but I have been so tired that I've been using my weekends to catch up on sleep!

    We are closing on our house next week and I will be in the same position. But think of all the heavy lifting we're doing by carrying babies!

    We're moving too. This is the second time we have moved while I was pregnant and it drives me crazy. I still lift boxes and stuff that aren't too heavy (aka nothig heavier than a full laundry basket) because that isn't dangerous, but I hate being told not to do things because I'm pregnant. Eapecially silly things like people telling me not to pick up my son (16 months old) or walk for too long.

    Just wanted to say congrats on the new house! 

    Have you started planning changes to the house like paint and such?  And that is sweet of your hubby to make you take it easy even if you don't want to =)  Packing boxes is not useless!   <- I may just be saying that because I only pack boxes, never move them lol.

    The house is actually remodeled and doesn't need painted right now! I'm the painter in the family and LOVE to paint (I'm weird). I can't paint right now either and luckily I can live with the colors for now :)

    Thanks everyone! You made me feel better ;) the house is our forever home, built in 1940, old colonial style, and 3,200 square feet to go with lots of babies ;)
