Sharp almost unbearable pains in abdomen-

it feels like I pulled all my muscles in my abdomen. I couldn't even sit in the car.. My hubby had to go to the grocery store alone and he had to walk me up the stairs because walking was excruciating.

I layed down to take a nap earlier and woke up feeling hungover and vomited. Then the pain started.

I'm 14w3d. It was really kind of terrifying. The muscles are so sore and tight that it even hurt to pee (sorry tmi).
I haven't have any sex in 4 days. I haven't lifted, pulled or pushed anything heavy. I haven't done anything except cry a lot today.

  • I really think you need to call your doctor. It could be a number of things but if you are in excruciating pain then don't wait any longer. Keep us updated.

  • Weird! I just posted another discussion at the exact same time about sharp pains! I have sharp pains in one spot, the dr said I have a cyst. No fun. Did they see anything unusual at the u/s?

  • The only issue is my doctor isn't available. They are closed on weekends and at night. I took two acetametaphine and it subsided a bit. But I know it would hurt if I hadn't have.
  • Any time you have excruciating pain, you need to call your doctor ASAP! I hope everything is okay.

U should go to a walk in clinic or the ER if it's that bad.

ER would have an ultrasound to make sure babe is ok.
  • I called and they did have an answering device. Doctor called me back and told me I must have pulled the muscles. So... Yay.

Really? You weren't given any further advice? If it gets worse and you're at the point where you're throwing up because of the pain and you can't move without being in excruciating pain then I would still go to the ER.

  • Agree with others about the ER for excruciating, vomit inducing pain.

I want to post a link describing round ligament pain, in case you recognize anything from it. I'm not trying to suggest you have it, but its better to know about it so you can tell the doc if it is or isn't like it.

    Good luck!
