Swelled up feet??

Mine are huge. I don't have a lot of salt intake and I only drink water....anyone else have this problem??

Re: Swelled up feet??

  • Yep. I work 12 hour shifts, and mine are water balloons by the time I get home. Big water drinker here, too. You can try compression socks from the drug store, that helps keep it down. And elevate your feet during the day, even putting them up a little, like on a foot stool can decrease how swollen they get :-)

  • Drink more water and elevate your feet whenever you can. I sleep with a pillow under my feet at night when they get really bad. My doctor is not upset about it at all so long as my blood pressure doesn't start going up.

  • Yup, for months now. The only thing that helped mine was compression stockings. I wear them to work all week and usually take a break from them on the weekends. I'd show you before and after pics but really who wants to see feet?

So instead I'll post a pic of the childishly hilarious way the stockings look to me when I get prepared to put them on.

  • I got some decent light compression stockings on rupreggers.com
I got the mystery colour ones, $5-6 each.
I also bought some compression tights, they are super great to wear but sooooo hard to get on!

  • Check with your insurance company - mine covers up to three pairs of compression stocking per year if prescribed. I love them!
  • @Trek3‌ I was also going to recommend rupreggers !

Love mine. Save my life over these 12 hour shifts.

Thanks!  It's actually brown not gray, but it definitely has gray undertones to it.  This is the stock photo from Macy's.

  • My feet are maybe a bit swollen but my calves feel huge. I think I'm going to get some compression stockings or socks and see if that helps!
