Wubbanubs

I've been seeing a lot of people talking about and using Wubbanub pacifier animals. I've been looking at getting DD one. But I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them. Do they really help LOs keep ahold of their pacifiers? Any bad experiences with them? Because I'm also concerned about the animal part getting into LO's face and covering her mouth and nose.

Love wubbanubs! Never had any problem with them covering up nose.

Love it! He still spits his out a lot because he's just not good at it yet. It's easier to retrieve though and it's so cute when he cuddles it. I haven't seen any problem with covering his nose, but I also don't leave him alone with it.

My cousins twins love them and even steal their little brothers now. I didn't buy any before lo was born because I wasn't sure he would want a pacifier, I may get to it because for me it is worth it because with that style of pacifier, when they get dropped they roll to china.

I've never seen any issues that would make me worry about suffocation. When they release suction, they animal will roll away, unless they are hugging it.

) and a dragon from Amazon! I kind of just want to see him snuggle it!

My LO doesn't keep it in her mouth at all but I'm hoping she learns.

It didn't work for my daughter at all. We had much better success with MAM brand pacifiers for both of my kiddos.

I just bought one yesterday! It works like a charm in the car seat. When it falls out it just slides down her chest.

My LO will take the soothies but she hasn't gotten the hang of keeping ahold of it so I'm hoping the Wubbanub will help her.

@JanisBaby14‌ I ordered the giraffe. They are all freakin cute.
@SEK1114‌ Amazon had a bunch of them that other sites didn't. The dragon is really cute.

DD1 didn't even take that kind of paci! And she had a little duck and little giraffe that we got as gifts. She loved them anyways and just liked to play/hold them. The little animals are so teensy that she could hold them perfectly!

We got the lamb and kitty and they definitely make it easier to keep track of the paci and for him to keep it in his mouth, especially in the carseat!

There's a similar product that you can use with your preferred pacifier. It's called a paci-plushie. I'm ordering one soon

@shauna813 That's what happened to us last night (luckily it wasn't destroyed). We took DS on a walk and when we came home, his wubbanub mysteriously ended up in the middle of our family room with a guilty looking golden retriever...fortunately, she doesn't tear things up, just carries them around the house.

@withagrainofsalt & @saraeric I'm waiting to see what my dogs will do with DS toys/stuffed animals once they will be around the house when he starts using them. My cattle dog already steals my stuffed animals from DH for like Vday. Currently she likes to take his bottles and put them in her dog beds ... Doesn't chew them just put them on her beds. Such a weirdo. My corgi steals his socks (dirty or clean) and mittens. Which isn't surprising cause he walks around with DHs socks all the time. He doesn't chew them either ... Just struts around with his cool finds.

My DH hates how much I spend on baby things ... And how much I buy for DS but I don't care lol. We barely bought anything before he was here cause we got everything we needed from showers ... Now it's all the stuff in hearing about after he's here. So it only makes sense

I too am a corgi freak!! He's my first and I begged my DH for him. He's a Pembroke-my favorite

! He actually has his tail too. He's a little special. And skinnier than the normal stumby ones.
