Trouble TTC

Worried and TMI any advice?!

SORRY!!! I haven't been in the past week or so I haven't had a computer. I still don't but I'm going crazy so I'll post from my phone. Oct 2 I had lap surgery for endo and cyst removal I am currently ovulating this is the first time in two years I've gotten a + opk. Yesterday I started to spot. I read online lots of people do this during O That is was ok. Well it just kept gettin darker and now it's like full on period blood. I tried calling my RE and my GP. The nurse at my RE said it was normal (this doesn't feel normal) my RE is two hours away and by now they are closed so I'll just end up getting the nurse again if I call. My GP is closed as well. Should I be worried? In having some pretty bad cramps as well. And my period isn't due for at least two more weeks. Should I go to the ER? Is it worth it? I don't want to over react and look like a fool.

Re: Worried and TMI any advice?!

  • I don't know what to tell you in terms of whether or not it could be normal, but I agree with everything @BlueFairy5‌ said, especially about not worrying what you look like to folks in the ER. DH is an EMT and you wouldn't believe some of the things people call 911 over, like being bitten by a pet hamster. Good kick, hope you feel better!

  • I'm not sure if this helps or not but I had a lap as well and they told me that bleeding after is normal. I had horrible cramps and pain, but no bleeding :/ ... Hopefully it sorted itself out for you asap! Good luck <3

  • I wouldn't go to the ER over it...but I would insist on a nurse talking to your doctor and giving you some plausible explanation(s) for why this would be happening.

I had vaginal bleeding on and off after my lap, but I think that's because they surgically opened the cervix. I'd want to know what's going on. Good luck, I hope you get a comforting answer!
